Fu*%face Von Clownstick

Another day, more hypocrisy. Remember the Republican Congressional investigation into Clinton selling satellite technology to China? Now it's okay to sell advanced technology to China, as long as we get a cut:

Trump Clears Sale of More Powerful Nvidia A.I. Chips to China

President Trump said Monday that his administration had granted Nvidia permission to begin selling its second-most-powerful chip to China, a big step up from what the artificial intelligence chip maker had been allowed to offer to Beijing.

The administration had spent months wrestling with whether it was comfortable relaxing its policy on sales of a critical A.I. technology that has the potential to help China militarily and economically.

In a social media post, Mr. Trump said the Commerce Department was finishing the details and would make similar opportunities available to other chip makers like Advanced Micro Devices and Intel. The president said a portion of the chip revenue would go to the U.S. government, a proposition that experts say could violate U.S. law.

Trump is also a "waffler". Joh Kerry couldn't be a waffler, but Trump can on nearly every campaign position:

The move is also a departure for Mr. Trump, whose administration initially promised to restrict sales of A.I. chips to China. The early position had support across much of Washington, and a looser policy that has become clear in recent months has drawn bipartisan complaints from Congress.

Hypocrisy continued:

Trump Insists Tariffs Will Buoy the Economy. For Now, He’s on Damage Control

At the White House on Monday, the president announced $12 billion in bailout money for America’s farmers who have been battered in large part by his trade policies.

Tariffs continue to put upward pressure on prices, putting the Trump administration on the defensive over deep public concern about the cost of living. On Tuesday, the president will go to Pennsylvania for the first of what the White House calls a series of speeches addressing the “affordability” problem, which last week he dismissed as “the greatest con job” ever conceived by Democrats.

China, the world’s second-largest economy and the United States’ main economic and technological competitor, released figures on Monday showing that it continues to run a record trade surplus with the rest of the world, even as its overall trade and surplus with the U.S. narrows. That suggests Beijing is quickly learning how to thrive even in a world in which the United States becomes a tougher place to do business.

And there is scant evidence to date of any wholesale return to American towns and cities of the manufacturing jobs lost to decades of automation and globalization.

Not surprisingly, Mr. Trump tried on Monday to portray the $12 billion in emergency relief for farmers as a victory, another piece of evidence — at least to him — that his decision to impose the highest tariffs on American imports since 1930 are working, or will soon.

In recent weeks, he has promised to use the tariff income flowing into the country to cut a government check of $2,000 for every taxpayer (“not including high income people!” he exclaimed on Truth Social in November). Last week, he declared at a cabinet meeting that “at some point in the not too distant future, you wouldn’t even have income tax to pay.”

Over the summer, he told lawmakers that other deals he is striking — some in return for lowering tariffs — would reduce some drug prices by 1,500 percent [], a piece of mathematical gymnastics that left some in his audience mystified.

The numeric magic continued on Monday, when Mr. Trump said he was using some of those tariff revenues as a “bridge payment,” to tide American farmers over Chinese until purchases resume, a commitment Mr. Trump says he extracted from President Xi Jinping when they met in late October.

Lol. Who's buying this bullshit? Tax the American middle class with tariffs and turn around and give it to farmers to grow crops (or not) that no one is buying. Where are all the "free market" Republicans who fought so hard to limit government interference in business and economic affairs? Oh yeah, they've been bought off.

This was supposed to be the most anti war presidency. They were anti neocon and war hawk. Yet now we seem to be going down Iraq/Afghanistan 2.0

Him and his supporters stand for nothing.

Quit listening to AM radio.
It's especially bad in the NY area. I used to call in to Bob Grant, actually a stage name. Pretty much the same bs as the current administration. WOR and WABC, propaganda bs, used to be good stations but they've prostituted themselves to the hilt.

Just wait until the Epstein saga blows up fully. NYC and Miami were ground zero for these international criminals.

It appears the nut didn't fall far from the tree-

Courtesy Jim Wright:

Trump campaigned on releasing the Epstein files.

Once in office, Trump blocked release of the files.

Then Trump's Attorney General Pam Bondi said Trump had directed her to review the files and the Epstein Client list was "sitting on her desk and being reviewed."

Then Trump's Department of Justice said no such client list existed.

Then the Wall Street Journal reported Trump had been briefed by his own Department of Justice that his name was all through the files along with many other prominent high profile men.

Then Trump claimed his name was planted in the files by his political enemies and also he and Jeffery Epstein had once argued over Epstein "stealing" an underage girl who was also one of Trump's employees and that's why Trump and Epstein had a falling out.

Then Trump again refused to release the Epstein files in order to protect prominent men whose reputations "might be unfairly ruined." As such, Trump directed the FBI to redact his name and those of other prominent men from the files. The FBI had to divert agents from pending cases and hire more personnel, reportedly costing well over $1 million" to carry out this high priority "special redaction project."

Trump still refused to release the files.

Then Congress passed a bill requiring the release of the Epstein files. Massive pressure from Trump's own base (which if you recall was expecting Trump to make good on his campaign promise), his party, and the public, forced Trump to sign the bill into law.

Trump then claimed the bill was his idea and that he was demanding the release of the files.
Then Trump didn't release the files and NOW claims instead that the entire affair is a "Democrat Hoax."

Which part is the hoax, he hasn't explained.

Trump campaigned on jobs, inflation, the economy, on the cost of living, on the price of groceries, on affordability -- and just last month literally called himself "the affordability president" and just last night said "I have no higher priority than making America affordable again."

Yet Trump also claims "affordability" is a made up word and affordability is also a "Democrat Hoax."

Trump claims he has lowered the price of groceries. You can go to the store yourself and see this is lie. Even MAGAs can do that simple math. Same with the cost of living. EVERTHING costs more under Trump. If only we had a word like "affordability" to describe this situation.

Things are going so well, Trump ordered his Administration to NOT release the Jobs Report, the Inflation Report, and the Gross Domestic Product Report. Meanwhile, non-governmental agencies show rising inflation and a level of job loss not seen since the Great Depression.

Then Trump threw himself a campaign rally and told the crowd even though everything was going great and the economy was booming and tariffs were bringing in $Trillions and no one had ever done such a great job as he, it was STILL somehow all Biden's fault. Then Trump said, the stock market is doing great and you have more buying power than ever before BUT also Americans need to cut back this Christmas, buy less, “You don’t need thirty-seven dolls for your daughter. Two or three is nice"

Trump promised tariffs would make Americans rich. And then he collapsed the soybean industry so hard it will likely never recover, drove billions in American agribusiness to Argentina which Trump literally funded to the tune of $29 billion, and then announced he's going to give $12 billion to American soybean farmers in a giant socialist government handout because farmers should never have to suffer the consequences of their own votes -- so long as they voted for Trump.

Trump promised to deport violent criminals. Instead he's deporting roofers, meat cutters, agricultural workers, daycare workers, dishwashers, line cooks, random veterans, mothers, fathers, college students, and children dying of cancer. In fact, about the ONLY people he's not deporting are the violent criminal gang members, because ICE is too scared to go into those neighborhoods.

Trump promised law and order. Then he ordered the navy to murder people on the high seas and seize the ships and cargo of other nations. This is piracy in all but name ... on second thought, that's the name: piracy. Meanwhile, he's deployed the army against Americans, occupying American cities, in a war on leaves and cigarette butts.

Trump promised to "Make America Healthy Again." His administration systematically dismantled the very science and medical infrastructure that has protected and saved millions of lives the world over and replaced it with conspiracy theory, pseudoscience, and the Wellness Grift. Then Trump's political party, with absolute malice aforethought, raised the price of health insurance beyond what most Americans can pay and in this they were helped by eight democrats: Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (NH), Sen. Dick Durbin (IL), Sen. Tim Kaine (VA), Sen. Maggie Hassan (NH), Sen. Angus King (ME), Sen. Jacky Rosen (NV), Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (NV), and Sen. John Fetterman (PA).

Trump promised America would be "respected again" and yet he himself bulldozed the White House, whitewashed American history at the Smithsonian, erased the contributions of any American who isn't straight white and male, strip mined and drilled our national parks, mocked our allies and daily promotes our enemies.
