Gen. McMaster’s blistering account of the Trump White House​

In his blistering, insightful account of his time in the Trump White House, McMaster describes meetings in the Oval Office as “exercises in competitive sycophancy” during which Trump’s advisers would flatter the president by saying stuff like, “Your instincts are always right” or, “No one has ever been treated so badly by the press.” Meanwhile, Trump would say “outlandish” things like, “Why don’t we just bomb the drugs?” in Mexico or, “Why don’t we take out the whole North Korean Army during one of their parades?”

One subject was particularly neuralgic for Trump: Russia. McMaster astutely observes, “I wished that Trump could separate the issue of Russian election meddling from the legitimacy of his presidency. He could have said, ‘Yes, they attacked the election. But Russia doesn’t care who wins our elections. What they want to do is pit Americans against one another… .’ McMaster writes that the “fragility” of Trump’s ego and “his deep sense of aggrievement” would never allow him to make this kind of distinction.

Need I remind you that Jr also went running to the Harris campaign looking for a job and they told him to pound sand. Jr was looking to trade an endorsement for a cabinet position and he really didn‘t care which side he endorsed. All we have to do is look at the way Trump and Jr have spoken about each other in the past to understand what type of men both of these guys are. Besides that fact that they both look like French fries that sat in the fryer a little to long these guys were made for each other. I also find it rather ironic the the man who was beating the anti covid vaxx drum the loudest has decided to join forces with that man who brought us these untested, and sometimes dangerous vaccines. The level of hypocrisy, cowardice, and lack of backbone that these 2 golden spoon fed elitists have displayed is something to behold.

He met with Trump before he asked for a meeting with Harris, which he mentions in his speech. He never said he was asking for acabinet position and no source for this detail were mentioned. It's whisper down the lane.. "according to multiple reports" in the Guardian. I couldn't open the Washingon Post article without paying, so not sure if they quoted an actual source, but I'd bet money that your quoting fake news. I have Bobby's cell number but won't bother him on this one.

He's got some splainin' to do... That's pretty embarrassing stuff... but nothing like the kind of karma for starting wars or funding genocide. Looks like Mosad has their hooks into Bobby too... his campaign manager and half the staff quit when he came out pro-Israeli genocide. My GF sent me the New Yorker hit piece.. Surprised they didn't mention the suicide of his x-wife.

On the other hand his record in cleaning up the Hudson river and fighting corporate polluters etc is stellar.

Thank God no one is putting my life uinder a microscope...
 
If this is all just team sports, for fun, and you are a player then continue throwing mud. If you believe it is important and consequential then relax and recognize that power full forces are attempting to manipulate you. In so doing, have some humility and deny yourself the conceit that you are more intelligent and morally superior to the other half of your population.

I will not discuss my vaccine status here, but I wholeheartedly agree that a certain percentage of the population has had very negative reactions to the covid vax’s, including all of the issues you listed above. One of the reasons I am shocked that you are so excited about the unholy union of Trump and Jr. The hard core anti-vaxxer and the man who brought us these untested and potentially dangerous covid vaccines. These guys were slinging hard core smack at each other not so long ago, and now they are suddenly sharing a tanning booth. Fucking politicians.

By “peaceful“ does Tulsi mean still having troops in both Iraq and Afghanista? Did the George Floyd riots look peaceful? Murder rates skyrocketing in 2019-2020 sure don’t sound peaceful. Hell, Donny couldn’t even abide by the notion of the peaceful transfer of power and resorted to violence in his attempt to undo/overturn the 2020 election, which he lost. How about the 23 dead at an El Paso Walmart as a direct result of Trumps hate speech concerning immigrants. And who can forget deadly riots of Charlottesville which were also fueled by Trump racism and hate. The list goes on and on So much for peaceful.

Ain’t you the fella who recently told us to hold our heads high and be proud of our ancestors involvement in slavery? And ain’t you the fella who recently declared (with less than zero evidence) that the attempt on Trump’s life was leftist violence. Most folks don't realize they are in a cult until they are dead from the Kool aid drink. 2016 had people looking for an answer outside the known establishment of both right and left. Trump seemed to fit the bill. Known enough and seemingly charismatic enough at the time, but not part of the political main. He was never a politician so offered an outside perspective. Folks, (not the majority but enough to get the electoral college) lapped it up. The cult creation was a slow burn to start but man did it steamroll support fast. Trump is bad at many things, but when it comes to manipulating people to blindly follow, he knows what he is doing. His supporters won't bat an eye at this story.
