An excellent prison reform legislation that he signed into law. He did a lot more than just that, but this I think is enough to prove he didn’t lie.

First of all without specifying a time frame this statement can never be wrong.

Secondly, when making predictions about the future it is clearly a guess and allows for error as the outcome is unknown and this not a lie: just wrong.

What I was trying to say, but got myself tangled up was, yes your example is not debatable, however not a good example of what Trump was doing. 4 times in 13 clips he mentions time frame coupled with the Woodward interviews showing he knew what he was saying is false, Conclusion he was lying. Part of your argument works but the end result doesnt hold water.

2. Make it about himself,
3. Make it grandiose and embellished
4. Request thanks and accolades for the lie
5. Repeat the lie and get others to repeat it
5. Take revenge or play the victim for not being honored as the best thing since Lincoln.

Did he do something good by signing legislation - absolutely. But best thing since Lincoln? I mean there was - desegregation, justice reform, the creation of the justice department, voting rights, civil right legislation, poll tax reform, and expansion of medicare between Lincoln and Trump. Just saying.

Final point on this subject, your one day it may snow example is really watered down by the fact that we are talking about POTUS. A man with the most up to date, best information of any person on the planet. For an average person your snow day example would be exceptable but for the POTUS thats a big stretch. Trump never admitted or even indicated he was wrong. Never will on any subject.
