A lot online chatter from supporters of his are calling it a deep fake as well.... apparently, Bill Gates , George Soros, the Deep State, Mike Pence, Google, Hillary, Obama, the Pizza Parlor, Pfizer, and Nancy worked on it all night to finalize their "coup", after the failed "patriot coup" attempt, and "stolen election".

Seems like it was just a small, akward man doing a sad attempt at deeply faking responsibility and reality. IDK?

If it was fake he'd have had nothing to do with it. I would think the GOP leadership would have produced it without his approval in an attempt calm things down hoping to mitigate a sizeable number of their elected constituents getting eviscerated with calls to resign or being charged with supporting the coup. I do think many republican congressman finally have had enough and are trying to make sure there's a republican party in 4 years. I think they didn't expect things to get this far out of hand with their own voter base. They are shitting thier pants.

Turns out the far right view isn’t really acceptable by most people and they need to dial it down to the area of moderate right or risk losing what’s left of the party. Who would’ve thunk it.

I’m worried about the 20th. I’m worried there’ll be bloodshed and death and that it will accomplish absolutely nothing. There will be no glory or valiant sacrifice or inspiring displays of bravery or any positive note about what I fear is coming. Just stupid and pointless violence and further division and hate among my countrymen.

I’d be a very happy man if I was wrong and it all goes off without a hitch.

Both visual and auditory cues look/sound suspicious. His head and shoulders move in unnatural little pops. His neck line with his shirt collar looks edited. Nothing about this looks or sounds kosher.

I really don't know if this is indeed a deep fake but the fact is, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...it's probably a duck. Why am I worried about this? Because it's a new age of information tampering. Matt Stone and Trey Parker made a show highlighting just how damaging and easily making deepfakes is. They do it with childish humor but I think that's the point. Deepfakes can be harmless and silly, or involve presidents and fake insurrection response sentiments. These are dangerous times.

mark my words shit is going to go down much worse than this feeble attempt at the capital. I have no doubt this was real and a serious issue, but a very weak coup. The only reason it went as far as it did is because it was rigged, and planned for (which is the bigger issue). This debacle was easily foreseeable, and quite obvious. Higher ups either followed orders to ignore it, or ignored orders to act. Regardless, what a fucken weak attempt, a crowd of only a few thousand (my estimation, and I’m seriously looking for a total estimated head count) still couldn’t take the capitol vastly out numbering law enforcement.
Fact is we train other countries on how to handle situations EXACTLY like this. Issue is we knew how to handle this very event and little to NOTHING was done to prevent it. That and the assholes storming the cap were too disorganized and limp to actually do anything other than take selfies. FYI a few high security laptops were stolen which were still logged into the governments private internet.
This ‘attack’ was nothing more than a probing event.

Yeah, I'm kind of worried about "some event" in the future, whether inauguration or other. There are some well trained people out there to be worried about, and those morons there on Wednesday weren't them. They were just the delusional idiots sent to test stuff, possibly the compliance of loyal insiders. I ultimately think further coup attempts will fail, but they could be much uglier and may require our military. Just hope it's Biden's military.
 
Yeah, a little excursion to test the waters and get a feel for resistance.

As a group, it was a sloppy ass mob, and most of the folks that made front page and network news were slobs and fools. I don’t doubt that there’s some intelligent, disciplined, well trained, dangerous people in that mob too. Definitely at least a few cops and combat seasoned veterans. A little organization and communication would’ve made for a very different day.

Going forward though, the resistance the mob encounters should be quite different.
My friend’s son is Army National Guard and he got sent. I guess there’s a lot of NG showing up. He’s a soldier, but damned if he doesn’t still seem like a kid to me. Hope him and his brothers and sisters come through without a scratch. His poor mom is having a hard time keeping it together.

My best thoughts to all of them
 
My theory, much more plausible than an initial probe theory: after a year of anti American media-orchestrated riots that condemned the "greatest nation", "light of nations", and "defender of freedom" as a fundamentaly racist state, in need of a good dose of socialism.

Some decent USA citizens went to voice their displeasure and rabble rouse.

Now the deep state opened the doors and let them in where they didn't quite know what to do. Milled around, gave the deep state its footage of cowering pussbag millionaire congress women. Killed a girl for blood to escalate the seriousness and then the CIA plants in the media ratcheted up the hysteronics, all with the intent of providing the basis for a serious curtailing of civil liberties under the incoming administration for the reordering of society and dealing with the social unrest resulting from impending economic collapse.

Do you ever feel manipulated? Isn't it all just a little Truman Show like?
 
Perhaps the most telling visual from the whole media collage of images, were those of these "patriots" taking down the flag of the United States and replacing it with a Trump 2020 flag. They go on and on about the American flag, apparently forgetting that the Nazi party replaced the German flag with that of their party, and eventually moved from demanding national allegiance to demanding party allegiance, and then to demanding allegiance not to country or party, but to a single person... Hitler himself.

A flag is little more than a symbol, and I don't care if you want to make a statement by burning one, running it up the pole upside-down or throwing it down onto a dirty parking lot. In this country, you have that right. But it is the fact that you live in this country that you have that right, so if you're going to claim to be a patriot while making your statement, you're going to be judged by your treatment of the symbols of the Constitution, country and ideals that make it possible for you to act like an asshole without being shot for doing so.

The actions of these people, and their treatment and display of the symbols for which they believe most strongly (Trump, KKK, Confederate, White Supremacy and other flags) definitely made a statement. The symbols of our nation, democracy, government and national ideologies were secondary to those of their megalomanical leaders and subversive, psychopathic ideologies and belief systems.

There was absolutely nothing patriotic about their actions or behavior, and the more severe their punishment, the sooner people will learn the difference between social revolution and political revolution. One is a natural process of an advanced civilization... the other is called sedition, and requires the destruction of a political system that allows for social changes within its framework. It allows for correction, improvement and extension through a democratic process without the need for any revolution.

When the Whig Party faded into oblivion in the middle of the 19th century, it was because they made themselves irrelevant and stuck to their outdated party line in a time of rapid change. Somehow, I don't think they will be the only political party in this country to meet the same fate.

BINGO - we have a Qwinner. A theory that manages to take responsibility and accountability from the rioters and the violence of the left and right, turns them into martyrs, and places it on a nefarious "deep state" that is all powerful, omniscient, unidentifiable, and clairvoyant.

Have I been red pilled?
 
Well not really. I think you are being manipulated by "all powerful....." but you can take the responsibility for being overly emotional and easily manipulated and you will suffer the coming consequences but so will we all.
