Hollandaise from scratch ?
I really dislike a breakfest restaurant that doesn't serve real butter (only margerine), but says they have hollandaise.

I love to cook, and my ideas about good food run parallel with yours. But lacking a cell phone (no, I am not going to get one) I can't snap photos of my creations to share with everyone.
I also had Eggs Benidict this morning, with Hollandaise made from scratch. Bacon on the side.

Yes it was nice restaurant very locally supplied items on the menu

No but the upper peninsula of Michigan is pretty famous for them

Onions
Beef
Rutabaga
Made into a pie like yours
Different recipes and ways
My favorite is everything shredded vs cubed

I grew up making those things, all the time. We used pie filling, pizza fixings, ham and cheese, all kinds of things. We always called them mountain pies.
