sorry dude but i dont watch fox . i am not right or left . i am an independent . i will vote for who ever is good for america ! you know like you and i . i want all of us to have the same rights and opportunity . i think a less controling government is a good thing . you should be able to do what you wish as long as you are not violating the rights of others . within reason of course ! we need a gov that actually works for the better of the people not themselves . i love capitalism !!! i think it is great . i get to work with trees and get paid for it ... sweet !!! capitalism is the solution to poverty... not welfare . i hope you all get wealthy . that would be great for you . as long as you worked hard for it and ran things honestly . if i work my butt off my family gets to live better . i buy more things which helps the guys that sells them . i will hire more workers that is a good thing . people will have more so they will spend more and save more . it will create more tax revenue which is good for the gov and the local gov .when the society does good as a whole it is good for everyone . if you are against capitalism then start doing tree work everyday for free . by the way i am against greed . true capitalism is ran without all the greed and coruption .. these guys nowadays are just out right thugs ..... as far as global warming it is just a theory that has yet to be proved . yes the goverment wants you to believe that it exists . so they can convince you to pay a carbon tax . what??????? there are scientist that also dispute that global warming exist . alot of the scientist that spoke up about it lost there gov grants for there research . hmmmm... coincidence.. ... i dont know ask al gore ?

It's a screwed up law because it allows broad interpretation of a person's 'intent' and that interpretation is under the purview of the ultra-lame Dept of Homeland Security. It's ripe for abuse by law enforcement but it doesn't create any new laws or crimes. It's a revision of a long standing law that's already been revised a couple of times before. It sucks but it's NOTHING, compared to the 'patriot' act... which Fox Spews seems to think is hunky dory since the bushbaby administration cooked it up.
This is just more Republican/Tea Party hype that has precious little to do with the problems we face as a country and as a species. This crap is so common and so blatantly intended to plant false beliefs that it's not even interesting anymore... this is ALL i expect from Republicans and tea baggers. They have NOTHING of value anymore with the possible exception of protecting the 2nd Ammendment.
Go ahead an flame me but know first that I voted almost exclusively Republican my whole life until "W' polluted things. The Republican Party no longer exists... it's the preacher party now and soon that bird will come home to roost. Dude, it's not that republicans (not conservatives, neocons and tea baggers are anything BUT conservative) ... it's not that they WANT the environment to be bad. As a long time lefty, I cringed when a scientist client told me that global warming had nothing to do with CO2... But I listened and soon it all made sense... Any global elite worth his salt has long dreamed of taxing air. They know the people are not so stupid as to pay for breathing in (O2), so they decided to try charging for breathing out...
Just look at the gvmt's approach. If you really wanted to reduce CO2, the first thing you'd do is increase auto efficiency requirements and then invest in alternative energy etc.. BUT what does the gvmt do??? It decides to tax CO2, set up cap and trade, creating another enron. And who is the cheerleader for this movement??? AL Gore.. And how much money was he going to make on cap and trade? A LOT? perhaps payback for taking a dive in Florida?
Global warming is caused primarily by the sun's activity, Scientists have been caught fudging the science and trying to ostracize any voice in the scientific community that says no to CO2.. The BS on this planet is deep and we're all in it...
Fukashima is the only thing the world governments should be working on right now.. When every sea mammal is dead, the polar bears won't much care about global warming.
