It's not that I would disagree - it's that I just don't think that's what's going on in the video. I think the point is more or less - money is not the motivator for great things. It helps, of course, but more to the point, if people are not butt-tired from working hard just to survive - if they are paid a good wage but not a absurd amount, they find satisfaction in being part of a "bigger picture", part of community at large that strives for something better than is at present. Whether or not Steve Jobs/Apple is the devil is another topic. People like Jobs, Gates, Elon Musk do have visions (and more importantly, resources) that put them in a special place. I'm thinking this talk was geared more towards (in practical application) The Office or the Friends, or Battlestar Galactica crowd, us regular dudes who are looking around and saying, "Hey, is this all there is?" ...
