This isn't about masks and social distancing. If you're sick, or worried you might get sick, stay home, and wait for your vaccine to arrive. This divide has been brewing for years, covid was just an excuse to bring it to a boil. Frog in boiling water.

Or, if you don’t want to follow basic guidelines, YOU stay home. Why should the rest of us suffer because you don’t want to comply with basic health precautions? Everyone has a role to play in getting through this Pandemic and doing their part.
What’re you suggesting we just let it spiral out of control? You can’t do that. Our hospitals can’t take it. So many lives lost needlessly.

People shitting on the nurses for doing dances and sharing them when they have a break. They’re trying to lighten the mood and boost their spirits.
My mother works in a hospital. You have know idea what the fuck you’re talking about, and we are all wasting our time arguing back and forth with you.
I'm not sick. Do you call in to work when your sick? Or show up to work sick, and expect everyone else to stay home?
It hasn't spiraled out of control any place at any point. If herd immunity doesn't work, neither will a vaccine.
I've already relayed my first hand opinions from the two RN's I personally know in large hospitals in populated areas. Try again.

I’m not telling you where to get the news from. Hell Im so far from the mainstream myself.
Can you get the point though? My pops died when his lymph nodes in his adnominal cavity swelled to the point he couldn’t shit, he couldn’t pass gas even. He also had a lung infection.
The doctors wanted to douse him with chemo, but wanted to treat the lung infection. They couldn’t get a good enough sample, he wasn’t responding to antibiotics. The only option was to wait for him to cough up a good flem sample, or give him a biopsy. They didn’t want to take a biopsy because the chemo (to get his lymph node down) causes hemophilia, basically they couldn’t cut him.
Long story short about two to three days before he died, he coughed up a good sample! It was a semi common fungal infection (common along the Mississippi?!). Issue was there were only two meds to treat it. One fairly mild yet effective if caught early on, the other would kill him.
Now take this into the context of covid. A common co-morbidly is obesity. And a common cause of death from obesity is heart disease. Now said person becomes infected with covid, and has to be intubated. They die, from a heart attack. What killed them? Yes they were predisposed to heart conditions, but their lungs were filled with covid mud and they couldn’t breath thus causing a heart attack!
Constrictor snakes (basically any non venomous snake), kills their prey by crushing it, the cause of death of their prey isn’t strangulation, nor asphyxiation, but HEART ATTACK!. So all snakes prey aren’t killed by the snake but a co-morbidly of heart attacks? See the bullshit in this twisted logic?

I understand your situation, and gave my condolences.
Is saving a few elderly with co-morbidities worth shutting everything down and tanking the economy? Completely altering life almost 100% negatively (the 1% seem to be doing quite well during this fiasco) for the rest of the population?
What happened to flu deaths this year?
The narrative is falling apart and people are waking up. Time will tell.

As we have said countless times, it is NOT just elderly people and people with prior conditions getting seriously ill and dying.
Young people, healthy people, people with no history of medical conditions have gotten ill and died. Some who survive, now have lasting serious health problems related to COVID.
What is there to be gained by denying the seriousness of the virus?
Absolutely nothing.
