Compact Bulldog Bone

Sorta like this guy Mac, I should break this son of a gun. See what he's got. Retired in 2013 after a good run at least a year or so14168715678790.webp

That is interesting macswan

I never said I didn't want it. I just want another one.

My dissatisfaction with it is the inability to clip a second carabiner to it.

I still think the rock exotica shackle connected directly to the Bdb might be the best if it is wide enough.

So what are you guys using for carabiners? I don't use a second attachment on my bridge on a regular basis but tried it today and the small DMM axis accepted a second Petzl oval no problem. I do like that the oval eyes give that extra room while maintaining a shallow arc.

Bonner broke a petzl swivel for me a while ago that had a couple years worth of wear on it. I never rotated to the other eye. So there was a big scary dent. and it still broke at or above the rated strength.

Good to know, cause my petzl has some wear and I just flipped it. Hadn't been using it for awhile. Never liked those swivels on Ddrt, but on the Bone...you know...

Huh, I wonder what the difference is because the second carabiner was easy for me to get in and out while hanging from the BDB.

Perhaps it's a magical wire profile. Those do have an indentation around the outer edges.

Pic doesn't do the groove on left inside much justice .its indented noticeably to the touch..basically worn away to the point where I was satisfied with what it did for me and wanted to try a different one any how. If you don't think its that bad . Up for grabs ! You pay shipping its all yours. I got four kids who need me and I try and keep all fresh life safety and related equipment and usually each new year try to freashen up such gear ,stimulate the economy ya know. @TreeStuff is fun!
Edit: Tom D made me think about giving this swivel up and its not really up for grabs . I wasn't serious, go buy a new one @Treestuff.Com

Getting back to the bone and away from the break Aarons balls bout his ball bearings hahaha.. I had some dogs barking at me yesterday from other side of fence where we were working and my coworkers whom I work with (my cousins) kept joking about how the dogs couldn't stand the sight of the bone and wanted to take it ..would you believe the homeowner came out heard this and seriously thought we were teasing her loud ass annoying mutts . I had to explain the name of the multicender and reassure it was the only bone around :rayos:

Bulldog Bone? It's just what I call this doohicky on my rope m'am. And remember, the more dog we hear, the more chipper and chainsaws you'll hear.

Deal? Grrrrrrreat, have a nice day.
