I can ride a uni too! Bunny hops, backwards and stuff but no chance in he** I'm riding down a mountain...Yeah I'm the type a guy who can ride a unicycle on a mountain cliff so cobblestones on a road bike riding a wheelie would make me smile
Great bit of work there Biggun! Who did that first remix? I love the Doors as much as Jurassic 5.A little edit from Mondays job. Lime tree removal climbing on the Bone and Cougar Blue combo.
Hmmm, very interesting....It may not look as pretty but boy is it comfortable. I replaced the metal safety nubs with threaded rubber bumpers and inverted a rubber grommet to fit on the swivel links. My upper and lower arms are both shortened so you can truly operate this like hitch (without burning your fingers).

Mike I really think that's a great idea . Any chance to you could get a pic turned to view what's going on with top link? Maybe you can explain how's that gromet mounted on there?Fuck looks ..hooray for function !looks good to me .It may not look as pretty but boy is it comfortable. That's the bomb Richard! I'd work with you any day man. Good skills! And shout out to Gordon and Paul D. The Bulldog Bone and Swing Chest Harness are on the big screen now. Whoop whoop!A little edit from Mondays job. Lime tree removal climbing on the Bone and Cougar Blue combo.
You may want to rephrase that TylerI don't find the bone that uncomfortable.
Wish I had a better expierience to report, really. I love 16 strand rope. Easy on the hands, easy to splice (once you've done it a few times), load bearing element is on the outside (so it's easy to inspect), not bad on the pocketbook. Great stuff really. For me 16 strand on bone was grabby, bad controls for decent, and i didn't like the sound it made going through the bone. Felt like i was going to damage the rope. Different strokes for different folks indeed, and I'm glad you are having better results than me. I'm psyched you had good results out of that 12 strand as well. I'd use more 12 strand if I could splice it. Maybe I ought to try to figure out a mod to help it work.I ran on 16 strand xtc I borrowed and it was great for me . The twelve strand I used is firm stays round and didn't resemble bumpy to me ,but I'm not a sensitive person.
Live the life you love and climb how you want on what you want... isn't life grand that we have choices and can strive for the pursuit of happiness .. Whether it be on a 200$ rope or 100$ rope doesn't make the the climber its what's inside your own core that counts !
I'm making my own...may not look as good as the original but just the thought that I could receive it too far in time if I get it from swingdude and it's relatively easy...while waiting for the bone...not finished yet...I will post a pic or two later...Great bit of work there Biggun! I've made my own as well and it works fine, Swings is supposedly more perfecter...I'm making my own...may not look as good as the original but just the thought that I could receive it too far in time if I get it from swingdude and it's relatively easy...while waiting for the bone...not finished yet...I will post a pic or two later...
The biggest thing for me is excessive amount of bounce with lots of line in system I prefer a static like line with good energy absorption so the more top end lines like cougars and such are preferable ,but as long as the bone runs up the line well and like your saying about erratic control on descent or creeping isn't an issue for me than the line doesn't neeeed to be a high performance double braid can be viewed as a positive attribute in my eyes . I know the shits not that expensive considering what's hanging on it. I just really like the feel in hand of a thicker line these days so maybe I should just listen my elders and try some vortex.Wish I had a better expierience to report, really. I love 16 strand rope.
