Compact Bulldog Bone

Agreed. Nice catch. Mine stick straight up. They're made with a super stiff ArbPro throwline that has three parallel inner strands. It's got more memory than a MIT graduate. I'm definitely going to check to be sure it can't fold down that far. Thanks, Mike!

So I found something potentially hazardous with the Bone and a longer style tether. I was playing downstairs, collapsed the bone with my right hand, and my tether dropped down to the side and happened to grab the lower link (I didn't notice this happened at all and happened in a split second). I sat back into my saddle and fell straight on my ass. The Bone couldn't engage.

There are many ways to avoid this and I'm sure the way many people have their tether set up, this wouldn't be an issue but I thought it was worth a share. Thank Goodness it didn't happen in the tree. So keep an eye out and build your tether accordingly. Bone is awesome regardless.

Good find Mike. Wonder if that could happen on some of the other devices when using a long tether too.

And can we get some Highland Kashmir IPA to go with? Huh huh? Can we? :)

Actually some ol' Coronas wouldn't be bad with that either.

Can't wait for the Brigade Weekend #1!
Highland has been experimenting with some other good IPA recipes too. Devil's Britches and a 20th anniversary too... but if you just want Kashmir that's fine too [emoji3] [emoji481]

In fact, I've kept both tethers attached to my BDB and have found that when I am ascending with the Bone from the ground to my aerial destination I will use the top arm tether. But, when I'm either doing a removal or going up and down alot the tether that is girthed to the tending hole and has a ring on it is easier to clip in and out of.

Thank you sir.

By coincidence I slipped a tight fitting section of surgical tubing over the tether on one bone to keep a mini-biner oriented and it is stiff enough to keep it away from the lower arms. I have not done this to the other one yet and sure enough, the mini-biner can hook the lower arm. I'll fix it too.

We'll have to do Nachos one night for the Bones Brigade weekend then...
Oh yes! Do you think there are any good ciders down there? Maybe they aren't your thing, but I've been going for cider more so than beer for a good bit now.
