Compact Bulldog Bone

So I found something potentially hazardous with the Bone...... So keep an eye out and build your tether accordingly. Bone is awesome regardless.

Thanks Mike for the great heads up.
I'm still with little experience but I'm wondering if going back to the spine connection whould avoid some of this,... disengage on the sit back, and tethers wrapping over the top arm scenario. I'm still figuring things out but I'm wondering if the tether I made in my post (#2036) might avoid some of this potential. In fact if the tether with spiced eyes at each end is just removed completely each time.
???? again...........just thinking.

Whatever works really. I used to get a lot of drag on ascent. I tried a lot of variations (many including the spine) and nothing seemed to tend on a weighted line as good as that top attachment point on the upper arms. Seems like the money spot for me. But I think Gordon has made some modifications since my bone was created.

I may go back to my bungee. Stays upright. Unless Eric has some of that superman throwline laying around, collecting dust : )

Anybody wants some of that throw line, just PM me and I'll send it off. It's many times over strong enough for the task, and holds its shape nice, which makes for quick attachment.
