charlotte tcc

What are the trees like? Have heard alot about Charlotte from RemovalWiz. WHy all the fuss about money, don't you guys pull in enough? Treebeard, why does my low sulfur Diesel stink?

A bunch of TreeBuzzers are staying at the Doubletree Hotel at Gateway Center (downtown Charlotte). I am staying there on Saturday after the TCC, and look forward to swapping tree stories over dinner and drinks!

We do have a discount at that hotel, you just have to mention that you are with the CAA TCC.

That's all I know. Hey Paul, I heard rumors that you might come down- that's great...and you're bringing your family? My wife heard that only tree guys were going to be there and backed out. Now it's too late. Your wife must be brave. Tell me, is Christian coming too?
 
Paul will be in attendance the last I heard. I guess he couldn't stand the fact that he might miss out on another tee shirt....either that or he really wants to see that "doll" museum in Charlotte.

I spoke with Kristian as well, and he really wants to attend in the worst way but cannot commit this second. I should hear from him later this week.

So far, "yes" Mrs Rat will be with me. We are going to Birmingham,AL Wed.&amp; Thurs. then to Charlotte. The good thing is we will have a nice quite drive, unlike Rich's Death Metal, skull spliting, murder music. LOL

Hope the drive from Birmingham to Charlotte is Filthpig free. I made that trip last year for the Southern Chapter TCC.... Me and my brother and my 100 lb+ dog. When we got there, I found out that my dog was not allowed on the grounds of the arboretum, so he stayed in the truck while it idled (an inconvenient truth).

Most every thing is warmer then Detroit or Chicago.

P.S.
Mrs. Rat can't make it now, problem with finding sitters. So now we(I) won't/will not, be going to the doll/<font color="red">Action Figure</font> store, DARN....LOL

Just saw the ten day forecast...Feb. 17th- low of 31 high of 50. partly cloudy.

upgraded from snow showers that was called for on the 16th as of yesterday...
