Next Year, Blinky and I will be more of a force to be reckoned with at the Rigging Challenge.

Costumes and scripts and stuff. Maybe some homemade cookies for the judges.

...and Tic-Tacs!

Here's some more pics. The first four pages are of the footlocking prelims, Master's Challenge begins on page five.

Disclaimers:
1) My battery died during Kevin's Master's climb... which sucks because I was trying a new angle from across the moat and it had a lot of promise.
2) I didn't get everybody's footock, it took me several tries to find a good angle.
3) Being old and shooting manual focus lenses... some these shots are a bit soft... anybody want to buy me a new Nikkor 70-200 2.8 AF I'll be sure and take their picture.

If anybody wants to use them for non-commercial purposes, feel free... a photo credit is alway nice. High resolution versions are available.

It was a great TCC, don't miss it next year... there will be Tic-Tacs!

Re: Charlotte Arborists Association\'s 16th Annual

Hey guys and gals, I had a great time this weekend and was very impressed with the park as well as everyone involved. It was an exceptional event. The rigging challenge and the head to head footlock were nice additions. Next year Charles Rayfield is the chair for the GAA TCC and I will be very involved helping him make it an awesome event I know we both got a lot of great ideas and lessons learned from helping at such a well run comp. I learned sitting atop the work climb tree for 7 hours is no easy job and that I miss competing very very much. Once again I'll have to say that I enjoyed myself this weekend and look forward to the next time I see you all.

You know, a lot of people deserve big thanks for putting on such a classy event but there's one who comes to mind that's completely under the radar...

Vince... Urban Legend... you rock dude. Nice work.
...and thanks for taking care of my eyeglasses all this time.

Is Morice trying to grow facial hair to be like Chip?

[/ QUOTE ]

Hard to say but he's gonna have to dye it grey and gain a few pounds if he is.

Man! You forgot to come up and say hi! I felt your presence like the force, but I could not detect your exact location.
