Hey Morice,

I thought you should know, I just came down the hall to my room on the 8th floor, and the doors are pretty thin.

Just thought you should know.

Yeah, don't feed'em. They get Scary.

His comment on this image is unsuitable for this audience. There was a gesture of sorts as well.

Kids these days just don't appreciate things.

Thanks JZ.

Re: Charlotte Arborists Association\'s 16th Annual

This event was extremely cool. The folks there were, of course dynamic, funny, witty and simply great folks...and yes, these men and women sure know how to climb and make it look way too easy for this - only climbed once before - novice.

Props to the New Zealanders, the folks in Charlotte for hosting the event and working so hard to get things set up and take everything down.

Props to Odis Sisk. If you haven't heard about the great story regarding Odis and Bruce Smith and a young man, Sydney from Brazil, well know that some of your fellow great arborists took it upon themselves to give this young fellow a week's worth of free climbing, bedding, food and the inspiration and many techniques to take back to Brazil to teach some of his peers. This is truly a sharing industry. And, yes I am part of the Odis Sisk fan club. I did find out I could not be president. But I am waiting for my fan club packet in the mail.

Re: Charlotte Arborists Association\'s 16th Annual

Got to sleep in today......feeling great!

Thanks to everyone who came to help out and those who came to compete. This year proved that we have the team needed to pull off a two-day International style TCC, even with the weather trying to mess us up!

There are so many people I would like to thank personally, and I hope I had chance to do so yesterday.

To the Masters Challenge Climbers:

You all put on a fantastic display for the crowd!

Congratulations Cormac Nagan of Raleigh, NC! The competition from New Zealand, Texas, and Michigan was fierce, and he pulled out one of the smoothest 20 minutes climbs I have witnessed. The tree was difficult and the rain was threatening, but we all had fun!

Thank you to all of our sponsors who gave money and prizes to the CAA that helped make this our best TCC yet! Over $18,000 in cash and prizes! In a down economy, we appreciate all of the support we have!

After watching all of the climbing all weekend, John and I are going to the woods behind the house and get up in some trees and try to pretend like we are real climbers!

The last thing I want to say is THANK YOU!

Re: Charlotte Arborists Association\'s 16th Annual

Next Year, Blinky and I will be more of a force to be reckoned with at the Rigging Challenge.

Costumes and scripts and stuff. Maybe some homemade cookies for the judges.
