Thanks Jay, jomoco it does have a kerf bracket that sits into a kerf cut like jay said for removals. I have dropped some big wood on it without the kerf plate and it didn't budge.. the strap sucks it down so tight it won't move unless severely shockloaded which it should not ever happen if the tree isn't being removed. I did add some uprights to the back that will incorporate rubber pads
