Then we bought off the place 2 weeks ago and it just got here Friday. Machines a beast otherwise we love it.

I looked springs are good and we can't seem to figure out how to even lift the yoke it won't move I'm gonna try lubing it up and see if it works. We love it so far.... I'm not doing half bad for myself I'm only 20 years old and I own the company

You are doing great for yourself Ethan.

The spring craneguy was referring to would be inside the hydraulic spindle, if I understood correctly, and only viewed by taking that apart.

So.....starting from the easiest thing to remedy first were you able to look down behind the feedwheels yet?

Shine a bright light from the bottom and look down from the top. If you can't see light all the way across on the back side it is probable that wood got jammed behind and needs to be forced down with a piece of flat stock metal, say 1/8 ×1 inch. It's amazing how wood can build up enough force back there to overcome all that hyd pressure.

If it's not that simple you can always go onto harder fixes next.

Who's gonna be the class a cdl driver to tow it?
I have to peel the cut tree sticker off and my father has his CDL he can drive it legally it weighs around 17000 lbs it's crazy heavy. Also we were running it at full RPMs and the feed wheels were going but the toggle switch on top of the control arms just wasn't picking up but I forced a 18" log in it and it went up. But it still has down pressure though I hope it's just a chunk of wood jammed up in there.
