You're a stupid funky chicken that thinks I'm a little American river otter. Little do you know that that's just my fake inner power animal. My real inner power animal is the American white tail deer.

Not so calm anymore are you? Can't take on a deer like you would an otter. Face it I'm in your head now. You're not sure what your up against. I could be lying right now, or I'm telling the truth. Can you tell what is the real, and what is the fake. You don't know what to think except what I tell you. Face it... you lose.

As of today, there are close to 20 climbers signed up for the CAA TCC.

If you are planning on competing, it doesn't look like this year is a good year to wait until the last minute to sign up. Also, the block of rooms at the Marriot in Center City Charlotte only has 20 rooms for both Friday and Saturday night. Those will be gone quickly too, and believe me, you will not find a room in a hotel like this for under a hunny anywhere near uptown Charlotte.

We've got folks from Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, Missouri, and about a half dozen other states, not to mention Josephine Hedger from the UK. Why wouldn't you want to be here?

When we booked our room in the middle of January there were only 5 rooms left.

And I so want to be there....

It is official.... the All About Trees crew will be there, minus one. Kristian is not going to be able to make it, but Brandon, Brandon, Rich and I now have plane tickets and hotel rooms booked. AND this year we won't have to leave in the middle of the master's challenge like last year, we are leaving early Monday morning instead of Sunday nite. I hope I get a chance to climb a tree or two between now and then!

Bummer. We'll sure miss Kristian.

News of the day:

Aerial Rescue Training Program on Friday April 16th brought to you by North American Training Solutions and the Charlotte Arborists Association.

To be held at my dear friend Betty Barberee's house (site of last year's training module run by none other than the "House" of Tain).

Rick, the Real Deal, Denbeau and Odis Sisk, with the help of Philip Kelly and Jeff Fabian will inform, entertain, and enlighten all participants in the finer arts of rescuing a human being who has injured himself/herself whilst aloft.

Lunch will be served. More details to come.

Great. There's two Cormacs? As if one freakishly good Nagan wasn't enough.

Oh well... just one more pair of knees to "take care of." See attached...

I hope it's puppies. Will there be cute little puppies to snuggle with between events? I Can't wait to smell there puppy breath and put there little puppy heads all the way in my mouth just to show them who's the boss. Can I keep one? You guys can take the rest back to Kentucky unless
The Skeeter wants one too. He should get one if I get one because there's alot of jealousy between us. When one of us gets something, the other should also get something but maybe a different color so we can tell which item belongs to who.
Please puppy me and Stephan.
