Another aerial friction rigging device?

Bet you’re right. They already got a history with RE and likely helped the company make some dough, plus the Rock Exotica versions of Akimbo and Unicender looked like works of art. I’m excited to see the finished tool after, but this one looks very cool already.

Looks like a very handy block. Saw a video of this device today in use. I would like to have one! Wonder how long it will be before they are available to us part time folk!
@JMerritt any idea? Is there a list to be added to in order to get one of these blocks?

It’s still early times for sure. Morgan and I are working on a limited run we can offer to those interested in helping us get the project really going. I’m not ready to start taking names quite yet.

What do you need from us at this point Jaime?
Our goal right now is three fold. One is to figure out if there is interest, and it looks like there is. Two is to get a few out into the world to get feedback on the design and to make sure it works as intended in the real world. Three is to build interest and show rock exotica that it is a product worth the time and money to pick up and manufacture.
as far as the second goal is concerned, we are definitely working on making a run of “limited edition” units we can sell to recoup some of the $ we’ve put into the project thus far and to raise money for another run if the interest is there. That also puts a few out into the world to get miles on them and get valuable feedback. We’re working on getting some more videos of the block in use (I work for a corporate tree co, so i can’t do it at my work) and we’re currently waiting on parts for the next batch. I’ll keep updating as we progress and when we’re ready we’ll take names for those who are interested.

you can take my name when your ready to start taking names.. Just be sure to write it down, so you can write it on the other list when the time is ready.
