2010 International Geezers open

Re: an eerie quiet in the thread....

The Psi-Dogg lost my purple Tachyon rope. I lent it to him last year when he lost his Tachyon rope at the CAA TCC.

It was in a yellow rope bag, and was left by the Throwline event. I would love it if someone saw it and grabbed it. I would love it even more if someone would send it to me!

The Psi-Dogg has an awful habit of leaving ropes at TCCs. If anybody can help reverse this terrible trend, it would be awesome.

"I had a great time and nice to meet you folks, Blah blah blah and stuff. Plus I just wanted everyone to know that Jesse Huffman lost my Carabiner. It was my favorite Carabiner."

This is why we can't have nice things.

In Jesse's defense, I have to give him props for riding herd on my gear while I was checking out of the hotel. Thanks for holding my stuff til I got back to the park. That was extraordinarily kind, but superlative character seems to be the norm among the Geezers crowd!

On another note, a bumper sticker for an as-yet-to-be-named tree service, turned up on the back bumper of Debbie's car. It has been carefully removed and forensically preserved and curated, and will be utilized in the near future to boost the marketing efforts of above referenced AYTBN Tree service ;-)

I can't imagine having a greater time than I did hanging with you ladies and gentlemen this past weekend!

The Psi-Dogg did it. I have pictures to prove it.

I'm only throwing him under the bus cause he lost my rope.

I can't wait for Geezers 2011 Seems like a perfect excuse to make up a monster double triple quadruple batch of swamp cabbage!

Re: an eerie quiet in the thread....

I'll partially pull sydog out from under the bus, by virtue of his kind assistance to me whilst learning the ways of throwball competition, but I still have fun plans for that bumper sticker.

I'm pretty sure I left some of that in the bathroom of room 119 at the Red Roof Inn.

Re: an eerie quiet in the thread....

Hey all!

@ Richard Cervai: I was going to brew up some special stout for next year but now I do think that I will have to brew up some of my Acerweizenbier to go with your apple-pie. Not as much kick as the 151 but in a pinch it can be used for jet fuel!

@ everyone else: I had a wonderful time y'all and thanx so much for making a neophyte feel not only welcome, but encouraged to do this all over again.

One request though, any chance we can get a cross reference for screen names and given names? It would help me remember who everyone is!

Blessings on all the Geezer's staff and blessings on all who participated far & wide!

Re: an eerie quiet in the thread....

I made it home....Few that was a long drive....Great seeing and meeting everyone.

That thing would surley slow me down. How Allmark kept it in such good shape all day I will never know.

Re: an eerie quiet in the thread....

Sorry for the delay. Head to "and he winner is..." section of the buzz to see how everyone did.

Doug LaFortune. Sorry about the wrong spelling of the name on the score sheet and certificate. Please remind me next year to get it right. You think I should already know the correct spelling.

Re: an eerie quiet in the thread....

And I found stickers all around my house and they never even wok me up while they were drinking stolen beer and stickering the place.

I can say I have one on my truck from Saint Louis and it sold me a job here in Orlando. You might not want to take it off.

Thanks to all and I'll post later all of my thanks and LOVE.

One more thing LONG LIVE THE WRAPTER.
