you will miss riding that hook pretty quickly trust me on this - you are currently enjoying something that can be taken away never to be seen again.
Wyo is right in this regard , a slap of white wash is not fundamental change - lets wait till he faces the municipal arborist and treelogic to explain his actions etc then decide based on subsequent actions and deeds.

We can all sit here and discuss the damage he may or may not be doing to the profession but until someone is willing to call him out with OSHA or any other governing/licensing body then he along with the thousands of others that drag our image down will continue to do so.

Not to be the wet blanket on this redemption party but do you guys really think a little online ribbing from complete strangers has completely changed the trajectory of this guys career? We can always hope, but if guys like this were so easily swayed, our industry wouldn't have the fatality rate that it does. I'd love for this thread to have changed Badeaux's ways but it's going to take a lot more than changing the content of his website to convince me of that.
Rome wasn't built in a day. Have hope. Ya never know.

While I'm not necessarily hopeful that Sheriff Badeaux has changed his ways and I don't think we should start celebrating his redemption, I don't see any reason for the ad hominem attacks. There is plenty to go after him for without speculating about the size (or lack thereof) of his manhood or his use of adult toys. That shit isn't productive. If he has stumbled across this thread, those sorts of bullshit personal attacks will simply alienate him and confirm his belief that we're a bunch of assholes not worth listening to. Are we interested in "scoring points" against an enemy or bettering our profession? Though I maintain that my ridiculing his choices in music was still justified.

Wow gu you took the time to make that? Why? To get people to like you online? Lame

Apparently, you overestimate the time it takes me to do that stuff, but you're right, of course. How taking huge picks with a crane and bouncing them around like a yoyo, hanging upside down from a crane ball, absurd claims about being the world's formost climber, etc. reflect on the arborist industry is certainly not as worthy of sarcasm and ridicule as the man's taste in music, which clearly is more deserving of profane remarks.

The real tragedy about the lost Lord of Greystone was not his youth spent in ignorance in the jungle as a result of his parents decisions but the amount of wealth and power behind the peerage title that was his by birthright and when restored to him , He took advantage of , to better himself having come to understand his own ignorance when faced with the evidence before him.
good story by Edgar Rice Burroughs, could have some relevance here.
hows it hanging little T ?

Dude just got a reality check is all...one needs to develop thick skin to be a success in life..
well I give it to you Nathan , that is for sure one thick skin you are sporting there mate.
now about that abortion of a cutting your company did to those trees?
lets just say a lawsuit for tree damaging behaviour came your way at $100,000.00 per tree from the municipal council.
still got enough to cover that?
thats the legislation I work to over here - it was designed to prevent that kind of work ever taking place.
'Australian Standards and professional arboricultural practice specifies that pruning cuts must be to strict pruning methodology in trees intended for retention so tree lopping is actually not to Australian Standards and therefore should not be sold or offered to the public as a service (similar to not being allowed to sell a car that is not manufactured to Australian Standards). This Standard was created because of the increased risk of injury and property damage over time from the effects of poor pruning.'
also goes on to state that lopping and topping are unacceptable practices.
other than my strong disagreement with the way you treat the crane I couldn't give a flaming' rats arsehole how good
your bottom line looks on paper it is about the quality of the work not the quantity of the tools being used.
but at least you took the time to come here and start conversing like a big boy.
instead of rubbishing other peoples vids with nasty comments.
heck it's a start.
