@ Carl: I was sad to hear of MB's passing.
All the best to you Carl. I'm another guy who hasn't logged onto the TreeHouse forum for several years.
Hope the passage of time will eventually mend the rift between you and Dave.
Rico ole buddy,
The one and only individual on my Treebuzz "ignore" list has met his Maker, so I'm pleased to congratulate you on now taking his place.
Kudos to you on this achievement.
May you live long and prosper.
Love,
Dave
Kinda bizarre to insinuate that, imo.
Context, my good fellow. And perhaps you missed the "not excusing" preamble.
There are big shots and mental midgets running their mouths on every forum.

I think any rigging product we use should have a safety margin that shrugs off occasional...
Sheep? "how dare you!"

The throw line winder and my hooker are two tools that I'm rather fond of, thank you very much.
(Telescoping hooker with companion)
X2 on the throw line reel.
I bought 2 also years ago, and both are still in use. Outer rims have a few cracks but hoping they will hang in there for another 22 years. (Freedom 80)
I took a ms170 on a 1 way trip to Costa Rica last April for deadwooding cypress. My worn out shoulder appreciated the light weight. Really pleased with the performance of the $200 (Canadian) thing.
