I like where you are going with this. My only comment is that I like to refer to double rope technique as DsRT and I refer to what you are calling DmRT as DdRT.
I definitely think we need to keep a distinction between systems and technique.
I want to do a bit of an update and to ask for advice. I went several months with no climbing. I did regular stuff around the house and kept my lifting to 40lbs or less. I find that if I do a lot of repetitive twisting or lifting I get soreness at the hernia site. It does not feel like it is...
I used to life a 150 to 200 pound items with care. I would use my hips and thighs to hold most of the weight. I used to sling 80 pound bags of concrete like it was going out of style. After I had my hernia repaired I am self limiting at around 40 to 60 pounds. The hernia was from a car accident...
If you like old time logging check out this video. It was shot by someone who had the foresight to document the old ways before heavy machinery was commonplace.
I know of one instance that is not an urban legend. The wife drove off while the husband was roofing. The husband won a Darwin award. I would not recommend using a vehicle as an anchor unless it is an emergency.
How could you refuse that offer. Richard, you really are a great guy. Except for the fact that anytime you get a hold of my stuff you break it. Thanks for all the break testing videos.
I said to not spike trees you don't plan on removing. By all means, practice on a tree that is going to be removed. If you know of a removal, see if you can practice on it the day before.
I hear you. The 6.5 only takes 8 quarts. My oil changes are less than $30. When I swap it out for a 6bt I will be running full synthetic and probably a bypass filter.
Bypass filter make a lot of sense with high oil capacity engines and expensive synthetic oil.
I don't run bypass filters, but I change my oil often. This is the easiest way to keep the engine running well. If you change it before it begins to break down and sludge, it will help remove gunk. If you wait too long it had the reverse effect.
I change the oil in my daily driver, 93 Chevy...
Here are the part numbers for the 2 micron filter. It is a NAPA 3528 filter and a NAPA 4770 filter head. This filter will exceed any oem spec for fuel filters.
I think the U.S. Army had the right idea with standardizing equipment. That is why all of my trucks take the same 2 fuel filters and the same oil filter. I buy filters by the case every other year. It saves a lot of money. Compare both filters for around $22 with $40 plus for a single GM filter...
I wanted to do a quick post on how to add a proper fuel filter to trucks or equipment. If you already have a system or know how this is not meant to be an insult. I just wanted to post some part numbers for those who are inclined to do this for themselves.
On most anything diesel you have a...
