    opinions....best spider lift?

Yes, but then it beeps all the time. Unless you disconnect that. I would stay away from disconnecting safety Riggs and get used to them. The foot petal is not noticeable any more. And I have hit the joystick while working by accident before. Glad the petal was there

IMO no comparison. Owned a 2007 ford f740 with one of the last aerial lifts of Connecticut. In my area: Jobs used. Turf damage. Fuel consum Ford f740. 70%. Extensive. A lot Nifty. 95%. Min.. none. Very...

    opinions....best spider lift?

Nifty sd 64. I am in the boonies. Found someone who might come out. Could replace the hose myself, but my time is more valuable doing sales and managing my crew during working hours. Usually about 70 hrs per week. Rest Isdedicated quality of life family time.

    opinions....best spider lift?

I have had the nifty for three years now. Recently I had a leaking seal on two of the drive wheels. I have done nothing but word from manufacturer is I would have to replace the whole gearbox that is between the hydraulic drive and the wheel. A 2000 dollar ordeal. Rightnow I am observing...

    Dead (and Undead) Wood

Imo..... There is only one reason to remove Deadwood and that is to reduce risk of damage to person or property. And to go One Step Beyond I would say your first option should be to move the target if possible and reduce risks prior to having to do tree work. Yes I could earn a sale by pushing...

How do you repair your hydraulic hoses.

I have a Nifty lift with a hydraulic hose rupture right in the knuckle. Where do you have your complex hoses repaired. Anybody know some good outfits that come to your shop? I'm in the midwest lower part of Michigan

I disagree. Jem I think it is a good idea to let it rest. Just don't go away mad. You pushed a lot of buttons and if you felt you didn't get anywhere, know that you were heard. we just dissagreeed and we weren't always all that polite either. Myself included. I really did mean it when I said...

I don't understand how you think. What you said is a lot of how trump got his support. By saying what he felt, by insulting and disrespecting many others to the amusement and support of the base of people that follow him. I get why many people voted for him. Had he been a bit more...

What makes you think everything has to happen in the middle of the show. Common courtesy is a good thing and the actors certainly did that. It would have been nice to see pence engage the audience, I don't know if he did. I feel sorrry for the guy having to always clean up trumps mess. Please...

Do you even know what that play is about?? Do you realize the responsibilities of the president and Vice President? They are the people that have to make decision on questions that no one else can make. In other words the hardest questions there are. And you are telling me we are not entitled...

I get your frustration Justin. I am very frustrated by specific people as well. It was just the blatant disrespect that I fear is going to be what does not let us work together to get through this. I am afraid trumps immaturity, disrespect etc etc (shown in his constant tweets) is going to...

Have to chime in because I hope trump does do some good things and is kept in check on the other crazy things he stands for. The problem I have with him is how the country's level of respect for each other is dropping and people feel statements like the above are ok to broadcast .......

Giant 45" DBH Quercus rubra in SW MI structural issue

Good question. No. the wound has been cleaned by another company ( burned ) . So there were no new Decay organisms aside from the ones that were working on the exterior dead wood in the picture above. That is one of the first things I will be looking for in my regular inspections.

Giant 45" DBH Quercus rubra in SW MI structural issue

I worked with Sebastian k. Who came recommended through here. His knowledge of the tomograph and of the resistograph combined with his knowledge of wood densities, decay fungi and relationship to different tree species were very evident. His background in Treecare and his work with many senior...

Giant 45" DBH Quercus rubra in SW MI structural issue

For those of you who are curious, I have gathered enough trees to make it worth while to have a sonic tomograph done and will let you know if you are interested what I find on this tree.

Argus Picus or other Sonic Tomography Gear

Well, that is certainly a very interesting conversation. I have taken the traq course and I can say that I have rarely pulled out that paperwork to do one since. One thing I can say is that I know when I need one and when I don't. Most of the time I look at the tree, look at the customer and...

    Which injection system and why?

Wow! thanks for that input uncle Don. That was a very good criticism and also lean towards one of the main reasons I would recommend a loadable system.: What the hell do I do with those empty Mauget capsules. They have been sitting in my barn now for nine months somebody please help.

    Door to Door Flyers

Cisco kid, i hope you are still reading this. Lots of great information here. So the verdict is out. Flyers might work in some instances and are probably not a good idea in other instances. It is marketing and if you simply tos out a bunch of flyers somewhere you are most likely littering...

Pictures of your chipper truck, lets see them!

Yes 68k was a lot to fork over. I demoed a morebark and was not impressed. Long story short , because everyone has their preferences and you can never compare all aspects at once, the service I received from vermeer on a previous unit I owned for 16 years sold me on this new unit. I spent an...
