I ordered one.....and 2 years later it came in (couple months ago) I like it. Not sure if I like it much more than my old ms 200. For pruning they both sit and collect dust while the ms150tc gets the job (unless the tree is full of 8-10" deadwood)
Fredville Oak and wakehurst place are a must IMHO. Get Kew tour from Pat Lacombe (? Sp last name) retired Kew arborist to get the most out of it. Everywhere I went there had amazing trees. There are sooo many arboretums even close to London. Packenham's book Meetings with Remarkable Trees is a...
You know I'm all about Kbooms.......where do you want me to start? I carefully studied and researched ....and weighed this out for years. (for what I paid, I could bought a top of the line AT) kboom advantages: side reach at low boom angle, I set up on a TEN DEGREE SLOPE today, if you set up...
No I didn't sell the R &R. Yeah beyondtheleaf I hope you guys get all your ice damage work done safely!!! And Mark yes those outriggers are definitely sick.......even after six years of looking them on the 175 ton...I still say that. I have a bunch of photos of those outriggers/stabilizers...
Wow does look like fun!!! What no Mark Moske, Mike P, or especially Mark C on the bill???....no its cool ....we don't feel left out of the fun or anything.
(just kidding.....I'll be there.....try to bring a toy or two :)
X........you really ought to delete that. Jeff is someone who might of bought a crane from Ya. I'm pretty sure he could wipe the floor with Ya :) I know he could take a joke......but don't EVER TALK ABOUT SOMEONE'S WIFE OR KIDS!!!
Yeah if you had the jib vertical with a huge trunk and pulled up with the jib extension cyls you should be ok.......but if you pulled with the 1st or 2nd knuckle you should put the lock pin in to lock the cyls on really big stuff......you couldn't hurt those cyls with brush picks....only lg...
The crosstab stabilizers are really unique. One runs at a 45 degree angle toward the front corner of the footprint. The other side swings around at about the same angle......if there is something in the way you can swing it back a few degrees and set it down there and the monitoring device...
Ooooops no you're right 31 ft w/o jib!!!!!! And mine is way over the standard 1750 chart because of the integrated sub frame with built in stabilizers that angle to the front and rear making it much more stable than the standard. I've heard they won't be making those any more but they are...
That's crazy! The last time I rented a crane was to make picks at 150 ft radius. I was talking via radio with the CO about the weight. The first pick I thought was 1200 hundred lbs......he said 3200...... I came down......we then picked it up with our toro mini loader....off the ground. Our...
That's because you were at a shorter radius. I think what Mark was talking about was when the boom is so vertical that it could be upward loaded?? Upward load on a boom is BY FAR THE WEAKEST for example if you had the boom vertical with the jib over center. I would never trade my custom 1750 for...
