    New to Kbooms. Tips?

I've only had to replace one jib pipe on the 55 ton in 9 yrs. and one on the 175 ton in 4 yrs. My old 30 ton hiab was a monthly pipe or cyl...or something major nightmare. David J stopped by last wk. One of the things he commented on was he thought they were more fragile than what he saw...

    Bridges

I don't know about an amsteel bridge (although I joked about having one on TB a few mos ago) but I think all saddles should come standard with an emergency back up bridge. If I hear one more story about bridge failure.....I'm going to rig two bridges on my saddles and clip into both.

    New to Kbooms. Tips?

Out of all the people that have come out here to watch my kbooms work, none have bought stick booms. 80 percent have bought kbooms. Some looked at the price of all the equip and pushed more money into their PHC divisions instead. (new spray truck is very cheap comparatively:)

    TCI's Effer 655 Knuckle Boom

Re: TCI\'s Effer 655 Knuckle Boom DavidJ if You guys have the work, you can't go wrong. I wouldn't trade either one of my knuckle booms (55 ton & 175 ton) for ANY crane. They just set up too fast and are so versatile. (we've been through this debate over and over here on TB......all the...

    TCI's Effer 655 Knuckle Boom

Re: TCI\'s Effer 655 Knuckle Boom Ditto to what Allmark said .....You are really going to love it especially once you work with it for a while! How did you like running remote from in the tree? What the Bleep do we know about crane work?

I don't know.....increase gross definitely.....but huge expenses can cut into your profit. Remember just because it's 100% deductible still means you are paying for aprox 2/3 of it and two thirds of the interest etc. My profits were pretty good when I climbed everything as fast as I could (some...
