    barefoot shoes for climbing?

A downside of barefoot shoes is that after wearing them for a long time, my feet just don't fit in normal shoes without instant discomfort. It's kind of a bummer because it definitely limits your style options.

    New RopeRunner?!?

Carabiner choice makes a difference. Round better, I beam bad. Rock Exotica round, pretty much all of my carabiners are CT. Thinner ropes are less of a problem. It is a pretty bad miss but it will be resolved. There is a lot of discussion taking place.

    New Ascender from Reg Coates

When it comes to milling they are hard to beat. I'm not aware if they do any casting or hot forging like DMM does. I could be mistaken. They definitely have some incredible engineering at Rock Exotica, which is really the most important part.

    New Ascender from Reg Coates

As far as I can tell, growing up around bicycles, fishing gear and climbing equipment, the manufacturing capabilities in taiwan are unparalleled anywhere in the world. Some people might not like hearing that but I am in awe of the stuff that they can do. One example, the knockoff...

The Linda McMahon accusations are even worse. For the department of education!. But since his intent is to destroy these institutions, it makes sense that he would hire shitty people to run them.

    New RopeRunner?!?

I love the Notch rope wrench. So simple, so easy. If you have trouble with being a light climber the notch wrench is the only one that opens up wide enough to be a light climber on stiffer rope. On other adjustable wrenches, I could hardly find any meaningful difference in the adjustments...

    Show me your van!

I like that, but it seems a smaller van could do the same thing towing that little bitty chipper. The advantage of the big van is that it is stored inside. But a small car could tow that chipper and carry all the gear needed for pruning and general tree care.

    My UP Equip Experience

Great customer service. My only complaint is the process for ordering parts. I wish I could just call them and have them send me the part. I have to order it through a round about way and it is super expensive because they are in Canada. One nut is like 49$ in shipping. Other than that...

Anyone else wear some sort of breathing protection?

Masks are the Most underrated ppe. I have no idea why it's not more common. I hate black boogers. For a little while I was happy for covid because I didn't look weird with a mask on while working . I prefer a mask for allergies than taking meds. I react pretty strong to elm and pine...
