My UP Equip Experience

Honestly, I would pay the $1700 fee to pay for their mistakes if they would just talk to me like a human being. Some days I make more than that in an hour so it's no big deal really but what I won't do is lie and admit to their faults just so they can save face online. This is the main reason why I won't pay because I know for a fact they still wouldn't help me out. Now I have a 130k paperweight which I need to figure out how to fix since the video they sent me doesn't have any troubleshooting tips.

So I would like to update everyone on the drama that has been unfolding between me and Up Equip. I recently took down all the negative reviews and paid their shipping fees in order to make amends with them. I realize we are both at fault for the miscommunication in the shipping so I took the 1st steps in mending our relationship. Today Alain took the next step and walked me through the steps needed to turn back on the hydraulics on my lift. I applaud Alain for helping me out even with our disagreements. Hopefully, things can get better between us and we can move forward with a clean slate.

Props to both of u for figuring it out, it's tough enough having to run a circus i mean tree service everday..

Which model do u run @Merle Nelson ? I was looking at the 72 footer before I got a knuckle boom. I sold my bucket truck and I would need it to basically Bringing down the stem with the hook and slings when the grapple saw is done cutting. I don't do a whole lot of trim jobs anymore. Basically set up my work around the knuckle boom, if it fits or if I can reach it I'll take the job if not 99% of the job I'll recommend someone else

I don't have one now Island. I wanted a 90 foot lift and looked at about 5 different brands. A used 72 foot Up Equip was for sale and if it would have been a screaming deal I would have started with that. Fortunately it wasn't enough cheaper than new and I went on to try the 90 foot Up Equip. To my suprise at full extension it feels better than th 70 at full extension. (Less bouncy.)

Now I hear there is a 100 foot model.....got to do more research, thinking, and try one.

What did you think about the all access I’ve been looking at the 83hd going to fly one in November
Just wondering on your thoughts?

I don't know just how to sum up my thoughts in a fair way. On important things in life - all my tree gear - I tend to like to choose for what I think is the highest quality and most functional use. To start off that lift is shorter, and then I forget what some of the other things were that weren't that shinny in my mind. Once I saw others as better I kind of forgot about it.

Others may see it differently.

I have own an easylift 87-48aj for 6 years and when or if a problem they have always been fast and courteous, most of the time it is operator error, not knowing the safety steps to correct issues
I’ve had my easy ift since 2019 and this has been my experience as well

Great customer service. My only complaint is the process for ordering parts. I wish I could just call them and have them send me the part. I have to order it through a round about way and it is super expensive because they are in Canada. One nut is like 49$ in shipping. Other than that nice helpful people who are always there for you.
