    dmd, Here is a cab mounted 40002 Palfinger without the grapple saw it measures 99.5 ft side reach 800 lb , 109 ft vertical with 800 lb lift. With the grapple saw on its 92 ft side and 101 ft vert. completely tested by westminster Hydraulics and it is stable at full extension and weight .

    You are right Ben the hoses to the grapple that operate the grapple and saw function need to be 1/2 inch minimum diameter , that flow rate truly needs to be 10 plus gallons a minute. We tried with 3/8 hose when Westminster hyd set mine up and the saw was sluggished at best.
