Gerasimek's Tree-mek

Here's a couple of pictures from Palfinger load charts

That is a PJ 060B jib on a PK33002. The next one is a PJ 080Ç on a PK40002.

There's a note in the brochure right below this chart that says "the outreaches stated are with a boom angle of 20 degrees and are therefore not the maximum".

Is the jib configuation the PJ060B JV2 DPS PLUS ? Can you attach or show a link for the load chart? Using just the model number (pk33002) I couldn't find anything that came close to the specs that you listed. But, one brochure included a single chart with a fly jib and the number above, and the specs seemed close to yours.
The Tree-Mek is being spec'd with a PK33002-E crane and PJ060-B Jib. Max vertical reach is 94'-0" (without the manual extension/s) with 1500 pound capacity. Max horizontal reach is 83'-9" (without manual extension/s) with 1120 pounds capacity. At least that is what is on my order from Tiffin Crane.
The sawhead is about 700 pounds, so deduct that for max capacity with grapple saw. And deduct the weight of any manual or portion of (I understand someone cut their's shorter to reduce weight) manual extensions used to get the head and branches away from the hose trays

Marc,

I'm sorry I misrepresented the length. I remembered those numbers from my conversations but when I pulled my bid it was as Ben described. Here is my factual stats.

I've created an article about the treemek - special thanks to Glenn Gerasimek for providing very helpful answers to my questions and allowing me to use some of his pictures. The article is at https://www.knuckleboomtrader.com/mecanil-grapple-saws/

Tree-mek owners... if you have any pictures or videos of your tree-mek in action and want me to add them to the article, please let me know!

Ben are you using the Mecanil on that loader crane from Tiffin yet? If so can we get some pictures?
I really wanted to have it before Christmas, but it didn't happen. I probably could have had it late last week, but this week is colder than I want to work in and on Friday my son and I are leaving for Yosemite. So I should be hitting it pretty hard when February starts. Should have the rig here before I get back.
Then if I can figure out how to get pics on here I definitely will post them.
Jerad, how big was the elm you put on youtube and how long to get it down?
You still liking the Tree-Mek big time?

It has 70 ft reach with fly jib 12 ton . Will pick 2000 pounds all the way out. Set up behind cab with flat bed. I will get a pic for you.
