The 020AV was introduced in 1971. It was 32 cc. The 020AV Super, at 35 cc, came in 1979. I ran them for years, until the 020T came along circa 1995. I think I still have one.
What's his name? A fella that works with me, and saw your demo at the Everett TCC last summer also wants one. And I gotta get my arse up there and work with ya on mine!
That I have, Sean!! I've bid on three good sized poplars, 6', 4' and 4' at ground level. But, as they were topped years ago, and have had a failure, we'll not be rigging the upper canopy manually. The wood needs to be craned anyhow, so it will be safer to crane rather than rig the tops...
Agreed. . I don't know the power draw for such a charger, but I just got a 750-1500 watt peak inverter at Harbor Freight for $40...as both mine in my pickup went kaput. I use an inverter to power an electric frig, charge cell and camera batteries, and run/charge a laptop. Edit, TTC above says...
It should be fine. But True Blue is the BEST line for natural crotch rigging, which I do a lot of, especially in conifers.

Before I became a tree climber/arborist, I worked for a few weeks in the summer of '72 for a gypo outfit based on a floating log camp, in the islands outside Ketchikan. Set chokers, water chased, and chased on a landing (two donkeys, one to work the side, one on the water to yard the logs down...
I'll be showing my age here, but these are the original Makalu boots, by Galibier. I've had a pair for over 40 years. Never wore them as they are a tad narrow for me. And, I no longer do winter mountaineering... I also have my very well worn Trappeur Professionals, a trad single mountaineering...
