    The Haas connection will go on the opposing spur. You can face it forwards or backwards. If your Haas/Saka does not have a built in footloop, but rather uses a carabiner that hooks into a seperate footloop, you can clip in and use the connection point in a rope walking system with your spurs...

    They are different patterns on the aluminum plates. You will definately have to do some modifiying to make it work as the spacing between the screw holes is different. Klein being closer together in comparison to Buckingham. With a dremel or die grinder you should be able to figure something...

    Mine just broke last week and i had it for over 3-4 years. Watch out for spiking into stubs. I have repaired them for some people so if anything goes wrong and you still have the ascender and plate, i will repair for nada

    Cambium / Friction Saver necessary?

    You can use a friction saver to set up an srt anchor point, but since there is no moving rope with a stationary line, you wont be doing any harm to cambium
