Update

Slow down fellas with your conspiracy theories. From one who knows a thing or two about a thing or two - I can tell you AERI is a real company. They are in process of hiring hundreds of tree people for a big project in CA, maybe elsewhere too. The work is real, not a phony ad.
@CreativeTrees is probably just a username on this forum.
As with any new job remember the interview process goes both ways - you have to interview the company too and make sure you know exactly what you're getting into. If you start the whole thing with a suspicious mind then it will probably not end well for you. Good luck, happy job hunting.

Then why does absolutely nothing come up when you search this company? The woman I spoke to said they just invested in something like 75 brand new bucket trucks but they don't even come up on a google search? Their phone number goes right to a google phone number answering machine. Could you send me a link to their website!

We should report this to someone. They're obtaining our information, could be identity theft. The application process requires your social and ID number. Such an easy scam. They make you think your applying for a job with a high pay rate when un reality your applying for identity theft.

Yeah I just reported it but I don't know how fast they will act on it. Interesting how Raven, a "well known" member is vouching for them? I just really dont see how a million dollar company doesn't have a website or legitimate phone setup. Prob a group of thrifty techies working to draw this out as long as possible to get as many SSN's as possible.

To be clear, I don't know anyone at AERI so I cannot "vouch" for them. I just know there will be many years of this work in CA and they are one of the subcontractors on the project. I would definitely speak to someone in person and get their info - name , address, website, etc. before giving them your personal info. They have to offer you something to gain your trust.

That seems like a lot of work to get information from a relatively small pool of people.

Wouldn't you make a more general qualification and harvest information from millions of people?

I could be missing something.

We are trying our very best to ensure that all members of our company are valued for their work!
I'm a certified Arborist and was out there staying at the paradise airport in the sleeping units making 35 bucks an hour and was told and promised different things so if I were to come back out to work for a tree company I'd like to get more specifics before I leave Ohio again

Has anyone heard anything more from these folks? I recently got a text (after them not calling the evening they said they would call) saying to call Tatiana at my earliest convenience. No answer, but as I type this I’ve received another saying they will call in 5 minutes. Just curious if anyone has any solid info yet

Just spoke with Tatiana for the last 35 minutes... seems legit. She said the slow response was their fault, I guess word got out they were covering rooms at a local hotel for orientation and the homeless community filled out applications for a couple free nights and some meals. Now they are pre screening over the phone but lots of applicants are not qualified. I think she said pay is 38$ hr

I know of 3 climbers that went down to work from the Portland area who left on the 1st of January. Guaranteed two months of work per diem. I haven’t talked to them but I’m thinking of going down myself once I contact the company, or companies who are doing the work.

Just got back from this wasted trip. Company is 100% disorganized. Many people are there (some for 3 weeks) waiting idle with the promise of work and not receiving pay. Then on the drop of a hat sent over half the people home without any compensation. Many very upset people!!!!!
