    grind thru with old chainsaw chain, usually find the metal in the tree is softer than the chainsaw chain

    I have switched from chainsaw surgery to cordless drill with spade bits. Much easier to drill out the offending root spade bits are easy and inexpensive to sharpen and replace, respectively you can step down size like 1 1/4" or larger for quick material removal to 1/4" to reduce collateral damage

    I have a Grcs and have well over 300 dollars in mods. goods is not a well tuned machine good fenough for the money. had to replace gears and palls. once so far. smart is smarter from what i have seen of it on line.
