It was another excellent class. The weather wasn't so bad either. It was great to see everyone and make a few new connections. Huge thanks to the sponsors and the ground crews.
Agreed, check your connections. I know that helped with mine, now I just need friends to talk too. It's a little weird just having a conversation with myself. Lol.
I made one after Rich first showed his last year. You do not want to do that, it takes forever and is a pain in the ###. Worth the cost to have it made for you and I don't even know what they cost yet. Keep up the great work Rich.
I found this guy when I was trying to find help on my White motor. Great resource with parts and tons of knowledge about all old motors.

Thanks guys. Walking the property yesterday I saw $50K of work without even trying, and that was just what it looked like before tomorrows storm. They also have some trees they want to treat so I need to find a local guy I like or possibly add that to my "Things to learn" list.
As you both...
Never quoted this way before but that's what they want and it kind of makes sense maybe.
Basically it is a half day cost and a full day cost, not a job cost as the job is on going a few times a month for years probably. They have 10+ acres with 3 buildings on the property. The rest is wooded...
The 590 is not a bad saw at all. A little heavy but that's not always a bad thing. It will run a 28 bar but with reservation. You will want to go with a skip chain, a muffler mod, and dial in the carb.
I was just always taught with straps to go the shortest distance unless it had a suspension, then flare them out about 30-45 degrees. Chains are new to me so I just did what I am used to.
@flyingsquirrel25 I like the 2 shorties Mert. That would make it easier and less time consuming. All my chains are currently 20 footers so I have lot left over. Custom lengths all around would make sense actually. I have to say this was my first try with binders and straps are much easier in my...
Until I get it all sorted out and arranged the best, I am going with overkill in the layout I had. If I an not strapping the mini down correctly please let me know. All I was told was that it had to be secured through the back and through the front to hold the arm down.
