Dump trailer with platform for a mini....?

@flyingsquirrel25 I like the 2 shorties Mert. That would make it easier and less time consuming. All my chains are currently 20 footers so I have lot left over. Custom lengths all around would make sense actually. I have to say this was my first try with binders and straps are much easier in my opinion.

I bought a small Bandit tracked stump grinder a while ago. Sales person showed up to deliver it with a trailer and one strap on each side of the machine from front to back. From D-ring on one side front through front point on machine, through back point and over to back D-ring on trailer.

It never occured to me to use straps or go side to side like that.

I was just always taught with straps to go the shortest distance unless it had a suspension, then flare them out about 30-45 degrees. Chains are new to me so I just did what I am used to.

Actually when suspension is involved you are supposed to strap the wheels or axles so the suspension travels outside of your tie downs. If you pull the suspension down with tie downs a stiff bump could loosen and dislodge the attachment points... but we don’t normally deal with suspensions in our business.
