I had a similar problem with mine, I replaced the entire carb after nothing else worked. Some carbs are just beyond rebuilding. I had a Walbro 22b as well, not sure if the replacement was one as well or not. I also replaced the crank seals, but that was because it would die when turned to the...
I wear a 28-29" waist, the Treemotion fits me perfectly, the upper D's are just in front of my hipbones, which is perfect. The Petzl Sequoia size 0 doesn't fit as well. The upper D's are too far back. Size 1 I can't cinch down enough (SRT version).
Definitely can't go wrong with the TM, probably...
Looking forward to hearing a report on it in use.
I have not found a good spot to tend devices from on my Petzl Top, so good luck with this one.
I'm surprised to hear you have no problem stepping through leg loops, but don't like it on the waist. I hate getting in to leg loops, the waist...
Not well versed with Ansi, but in your quote it says that the rope meets ANSI not necessarily the splice. Also, for EN Standards, 15kN is enough for harnesses and rope terminations.
Teufelberger Slaice is 18kN
Drenaline also comes with a slaice, which is a hybrid splice/sewn eye, that will fit through any cambium saver. And there is now a certified splice for it, Teufelbergers Splife. I believe that one is so slim it will fit through a zigzag as well. I realy don't know why it is still being sood with...
Yeah, I know I would've loved the Zeros. I love my Spiders, they are the same cut, but without the protection and one less pocket.
I ordered the Pfanner Arborist and the Arbortec Breatheflex Pros, I'll try both and send one back. My Pfanner dealer didn't have them in the right size, and said...
That's a Lory. This one is made by Bornack, Skylotec and Anthron also produce the same product, and the Singing Rock Sir, Camp Axel and Edelrid Eddy are the same device as well, although there are certification differences. The best one is the Skylotec Lory pro though, that one has a loose cam...
No, perfectly acceptable. I often do that with my Zigzag, it has a bulit in swivel. Keeps my system closer to me. Works well for the Skylotec Sirius as well, that's meant to be used in a sideways orientation like the Petzl I'D. All othe devices go on the swivel or ring depending on the saddle.
Thanks for that. They've had an upgrade since then too. I'm dropping by the deaker tomorrow to try them on, if they don't fit well I'll order the Breatheflex probably
I don't like the right leg pocket on those, that's why I'm interested in the Arborist version. That one is slightly less durable than the ventilation, but more stretchy.
Which Gladiators do you have? If I'm not mistaken Pfanner only makes the Arborist, the Ventilation and the Gladiator extreme, all other models are discontinued. Might be wrong about that though.
@Reach I don't mind the long back, my Stihl has that, so do the Pfanners.
@Timber1972 I can't find any solidurs in Germany except for the authentic model, looks like a more basic one. I think their comfy or sofresh models would be more what I want.
If they were certified here I would try to get some cloggers, they look like the perfect fit for me, I love the spiders. For a lot of jobs I wouldn't care if they were certified, but I need the certification often enough. And I don't want two different pairs.
The SIP Reflex Pockets are not to my...
I need a new pair of chainsaw pants, I currently have a relatively cheap pair of Stihl pants, they're alright on the ground, but very hot, pockets are not great, and mobility could be better.
I know most of you want to recommend the Clogger Zeros, however they are not available here, and not...
For my purposes these are great, which is mainly rope course construction. Which means very occasional chainsaw use, so I don't wear chainsaw pants at work, unless we're doing felling.
For general tree work, these would be for pruning with a handsaw, or comp.
And I understand you do not have to...
