That's not as long as I was imagining. I would really love to try that setup.

Sweet setup! a buddy of mine welded himself up a jig just like that to do the same with his tilt deck.

While I don't doubt you at all Gordo, there is something about the link angles there that makes me feel so uneasy. How long is that fully extended on the skinny rope?

Sounds like oak. If I have seen that effect, it was in oaks. We do have some gnarly oaks around here in the woods. Not the yard trees.

The point about the wonky grain down low is really awesome. I feel like I have encountered that a time or two, but maybe I'm just making excuses for myself.

    Stump Cut Troubles

Sounds like a sharpening issue, or maybe a worn out bar.

There appears to be a small misunderstanding. I beleive that by add-ons, they mean additional work added on after the bid acceptance and scheduling has taken place. If it were part of the original bid, I would agree with you 100%

The word you were looking for is dissent. That's the part where you lose me entirely. You're not worth the effort.

Sometimes I feel like that too, but I question whether that is really the case. It's been noted heavily in the world of atheltics, and our business is one often involving great athleticism. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clutch_(sports)

From what I have seen, there is some overlap, but there are definitely differences. I checked out a few of the other arb forums when I was looking for advice in my first year, and this is where I got the impression I should go for the best explanations about why one should do things this way or...

Twice I really wasn't sure what to do, said fuck it, and twice I got struck by a branch. Luckily only bruises and scratches, but that second time, I vowed to never make another "fuck-it cut" ever again. If you're gonna be using social media to brag- sorry, advertise, then you better be awesome...

Glad you got it all figured out. There are years and years of back catalogue if you care to read what many of us here think about all those subjects. You'll find people that agree with you, and many that don't. You contradict yourself enough in the little that you've said that I won't waste more...

I was clipping higher, and then tried to clip on the belt line, but then I tried clipping to the climbing device/carabiner on the device. and so far that has been my favorite. On the ZZ+ I use the swivel ring next to the biner. and when I climb with the hitchclimber, I use the carabiner.
