Artemis II

Why is a question I never ask my homeowners when they choose to remove a healthy tree. Knowing why is not my business. My business is to fulfill their wishes. I am agnostic on the moon missions too, for a number of reasons, but primarily because there is no way to prove it one way or another, I can’t go to the moon and wait for them to show up. I can’t ride the rocket with them. All of us have two options, wholeheartedly believe what we are told, or weigh the evidence for ourselves.

Here is a question for you, have you ever been lied too by figures of authority? By heads of science or government? What about COVID, The BLM riots, Epstein, Iraq, 9/11? The primary purpose of the media, is to shape your perception. NASA is unlike other “scientific” endeavors. They film and broadcast their goings on. Therefore they have become an arm of that media. As with all “nonfiction” media, its role is to shape your perception. Shape it into what, we can only speculate.now I have my own opinions of why, but it’s speculation.
I think the most alarming part of this post is the fact that you say- "Why is a question I never ask my homeowners when they choose to remove a healthy tree. Knowing why is not my business. My business is to fulfill their wishes."

You never ask why someone wants to remove a healthy tree?! I ALWAYS ask, because it's a great opportunity to learn and educate, and maybe even preserve a tree.

Your welcome. I might be new to this board, but been on arboristsite since 2005. I could be wrong, but is it not basically the same community?
From what I have seen, there is some overlap, but there are definitely differences. I checked out a few of the other arb forums when I was looking for advice in my first year, and this is where I got the impression I should go for the best explanations about why one should do things this way or that.
Also, why do you think there is so much passion and emotion, for a little government organization, that has nothing to do with the common tree man?
I am not sure what you're asking here. Who is it that has the passion and emotion? You, me, or NASA?

How do you find balance between religion and science?
Science and the creator are in perfect balance.

Isaac Newton catalyzed the Enlightenment by using his profound religious belief in a rational creator to justify the search for universal, mathematical laws governing nature. By merging empirical observation with divine order, Newton convinced17th-century thinkers that the universe was a predictable, orderly system, prompting them to apply this same reason to human society.

Science was made possible, by the belief in an ordered universe.

I usually get people (unprompted) explaining why they want the tree out, I listen for a bit, but if it gets boring or they’re labouring under the delusion I care, I tell them, you don’t need to justify it to me, you want it out, I’ll do it.

I am probably not as experienced as you, only been doing this 25 years. Maybe someday, I will be better at telling customers what they want. When I was younger I went around talking people out of work, only to drive by a week later to find my competition on their site. If they own the property, it’s their business what they do with their trees. If they want my advice or opinion, I will give it. If not, I don’t go sticking my nose into their decisions.

I just don’t see why poking holes in a government organization that brings zero value to the taxpayer, is it worth hard feelings? Your not wasting your time, we are crossing swords and learning to sharpen one another.

Zero value? Like, ever? Because that take would be a massive steaming pile of horseshit.
Easy, I watched Interstellar too. Don’t get upset at me about the wife’s cyst. I’m talking about the moon missions. Complete waste of time and stolen money. If you believe that the inventions that are attributed to that organization, would not have come about without them, you need to read Kevin Kelley’s, “What Technology Wants”. About every major invention that contributes to the quality of life on Earth, was being worked on by multiple people at the same time. The light bulb for example. It was a race to the patent office and Edison just happen to get there first.

Enlighten me please. What would have happened, if NASA would have never existed? Millions dead?

Interstellar? Wife's cyst? What are you on about?

There are dozens of technologies that were created, or advanced, due to the moon missions.

Where was the money stolen from?

Anyone detect a general theme of malcontent and antagonistic argument, stirring the pot? Maybe it's become time to roil the masses, sensing weakness. That type of activity does occur. Sometimes with concerted effort and tenacity. A year or two back the roil-ers took a break. Don't presume rational fact based discussion will lead anywhere constructive.

I'm sure slavery had nothing to do with that
It’s quite interesting how these boards flow. Anyone who descents is labeled a troll. Meanwhile, the majority who refuse to descent, gaslight the descender by attacking anything but a valid point. I made several arguments against the moon missions, 33 replies in and they have barely been addressed. Instead of addressing the arguments, logical fallacies are being used. Particularly ad hominem attacks. It’s like trying to have a conversation with a pissed off woman.

The African slaves were freed in 1863, we were all put in chains in 1913. Those chains have become beloved by most. Mass Stockholm syndrome has taken hold of most of the west. It’s nothing new. You can read about this very thing in the book of Exodus, 3500 years ago. Having been freed from Egypt, the tribes of Israel yearned to return to their chains, because the food was better. The fact that NASA and taxation are so passionately defended here, is evidence of that slave mentality. Remember how this country came into existence. The colonists refused to be put in chains through taxation, so they rose up against the world’s greatest empire. If NASA (and space X for that matter) were worthwhile endeavors, they would not need government funding. The free market would support exploration in and of space. If you want to love being a wage slave, fair enough, but don’t call me a troll for pointing out the obvious facts.

Riddle me this,

1. If the landings were not faked, why was every shred of evidence that we had landed, destroyed? When Ron Howard filmed his documentary, “from the Earth to the Moon”, he had to go to blockbuster for source video. Why, because NASA destroyed the original footage. When a smart person murders, what do they do? They clean the crime seen and hide the body. That way, someone else can be blamed, or no one at all.
The beautiful thing about celestial bodies without an atmosphere is that everything is preserved. So the evidence is readily available to any person with access to a moderately powerful telescope.
2. Why is there more footage of the 69 missions, than the Artemis mission? We got a couple of stills of Earth and a horrible livestream. Where is the Timelapse of the earth spinning, weather patterns, hd video of the planet going dark and city lights coming on? In the age of cameras everywhere, there were none being pointed at the earth?
3. In 69, how did they solve the problem of the Van Allen Belt? How did Artemis solve it?
4. Why are there CGI glitches in the cabin footage? For example, when one of the crew spins his soup, a red camera cue can be seen, then disappears.
I'm not sure what this was so I won't comment.
5. I want to see footage of that rocket going the required 17,000 mph to escape earths gravity. Also, why is there never cockpit footage of these launches? The blue angels make people go unconscious pulling 5gs. The astronauts are subjected to 4gs for 10 minutes? I suspect the reason is that would just be more scrutiny on the missions. The Soyuz rocket posted some cockpit footage and it was a terrible idea for legitimacy. The crew was high fiving and playing with buttons, when they should have been glued to there seats
What makes you think there's no cockpit footage? Due to limited bandwidth, often interior cameras record locally and will be released after the footage can be downloaded. Since the orbiter just landed and there probably a ton of data to sort though maybe we can be patient.

The word you were looking for is dissent.

That's the part where you lose me entirely. You're not worth the effort.
