The phomopsis I've seen in the past has usually started by killing tips before moving to the rest of the branches. This just seemed to take it all out at once.Any chance it could be Pestalotiopsis or Phomopsis? Do you know the planting history on any of them? I've seen some uptick in phomopsis.

Not salt, they have an issue with a utility contractor, but end of a dirt road wooded dead end. Mostly protected area. Could be tip blight, very uniform.That looks more like a tip blight or wind (salt?) burn.

Can chase it by removing the symptomatic trees or just start over with resistant plants. By the photos it looks like drainage may be a issue.
