Ok so after another call there was a misinformation, the rope is sold with no core, apparently they use a massive bury to fill the jacket(they only use it for spliced goods-not as climb line),like if they make a 10' lanyard they use 20' of rope and bury all the way through.... They did allow me to...
Talking to Sherrillstuff and turns out that there are supposed to be core strands, also that it is a color scheme made for sherrilltree specifically by Samson rope...
That's an idea, realistically I won't though, just too much of an investment for a lousy rope that I've already overpaid for. I have some actual quality 16 strand and some tachyon that i can use instead of the shoelace,I wanted specs cause i was thinking of making it into a few friction savers...
I've been slammed all week,I'm going to contact them and fill em in on my gripe, all honesty the shit seems useless,I mean im using it but it blows dik. I feel like i was deceived,16 strand with no core [emoji849] stoopid
Ok will do for sure,I only have smaller length of that so if i gonna get a new rope for this beauty what should be deciding factors?24 strand, double braid,11.7,11.5,etc...
Ok got it [emoji16],that was basic.
I tried it on a yale blaze and some tachyon...
What are the best rope types (rope construction)and or actual rope(brand and model)to be used with Akimbo?
My results varied with those 2 lines,i have some poison ivy and velocity cool as well.
I hate date palms almost as much as cockroaches eeegghhww! And when the fly uugh so nasty. Lots of date palmes in san diego... Like Ben said, the head carries ALOT of weight. The spines can be crippling if they get you right, best of luck, you got this!
I was thinking that exact same thing when I bought it Jeff,i made a flipline with it and it flattens like a sumbichh, almost seems like im using a shoelace
