Salsco 6" Tracked Chipper - price drop - $23,000

I used it once to tug jet sleds of trunk rounds up a hill with a tag line and redirect and it worked great. Certainly not a replacement for the awesome versatility of a mini though.IMG_1208.webp

What a sweet setup! How much diesel/hr?
See, you are asking more questions. Have you talked to a loan agent yet, a rich uncle perhaps? You really need this for all of your island work. It would be ideal. And just like the OP posted no mini required. Think of the niche market that machine would fill nicely. You need this!

Thanks! Trying to find it a most exciting work life than parked at our shop most of the time!
I haven't noticed the Salsco being thirsty compared to our other diesel things. The internet this morning saids 1-1.5 gallons per hour depending on usage for 35hp Kubotas.

I’m in the same boat. Last year I upsized our company from 2 employees to 5 in the field and 1.5 in the office. My stress level went from high to higher. I’ve been starting to downsize and seeing if my stress level and quality of life goes back to a tolerable level. But because of where we work and the types of work that we do different equipment may actually help me downsize personnel which would hopefully reduce my mental workload which seemingly is based on keeping people busy day to day.

I love how you won’t even see the tracked lift advert and you hit the reply button or the like button and suddenly you are on their page. Certainly one of the worst Treebuzz changes ever. Makes me want to NEVER buy that brand.
I'm right there with you! I just put a note on the complaint page about it, every time I try to edit a word in a post this morning, that advertisement rotates and causes me to jump all over the page.
