i can see the rope slider as a good slack tending device in a lightweight lanyard setup, but i dont believe i would use it on my primary climbing system. i believe mark c has been using a similar home made device on his lanyard...i could be mistaken. i love seeing more and more people throwing...
i have used 10 mm beeline as a lanyard for quite a while now and more recently have been using 10mm OP and love both of them. i have tried endless combinations of hitches and hitch cords and adjusters to try and finely tune my lanyard setup. i have used 5mm tech cord, 8mm op, 8mm beeline, 8mm...
i have been using the rigguy system for years now and have never had any issues. The system is extremely fast and easy to install my only complaint is in regards to their three way hub setup. i tried it once and didnt like the way it worked out and have since moved on to a rigging ring and tree...

i just got a pair of the ganda guides and i absolutely love them. they are the most comfortable boot that i have worn and they work extremely well for footlocking and pruning, however, i have not used them with spikes but can imagine that they would not be real great for...
just got my new alveo vent and climbed with it for the first time yesterday. i absolutely loved it. i previously had a vertex which i liked but it never seemed to fit quite right. the new adjustment system on the alveo is awesome and i am finally able to put my ear muffs backwards on my helmet...
i was simply making a joke with my hater-ade(as in gatorade) comment, apparently my humor is lost across the pond. i may have overstated their impact on the industry, but if you cant take an open minded look at the impact they have made with some of the rope tools and equipement that these guys...
