    Yeah I tie mine like ricky. Thats how Kristian (whiz)taught me. ALL muscle memory you never stop moving until its done. I can easily tie a running bowline with one hand like that. A really handy skill to have in certain situations!

    Not the ideal tool but I've always used the 1/4" fid even on small stuff like 8mm OP. works fine. Need to get a marlin spike but never done it. the forcepts or pliers would probably distort the core if you're not really careful.

    Same here got one at savannah. Never thought i'd see the day but it actually beats the legendary ecrin roc. Doesn't fit my head quite as tight but being lighter stays on your head as good or better. Another plus is it doesn't give you helmet head.
