I really like the Makita 18V too handle - especially with that little Panther bar you gave me @macrocarpa
Unfortunately the batteries just don't last so it get really expensive...or maybe it's the chargers? One quit charging. Told me all the batteries were bad. I bought a new charger and...
I can agree with that...but I still used Unicender and now Reflex instead of the Zigzag because of ease of attachment. But once its on, the Zigzag is better. So I have decided that ease of attachment outweighs bump in performance. Just personal preference. I get why you crown it King of the MRS!
I wish RR would get the Unicender 2 out. It was previewed I think at the 2019 TCIA.
I've still been happy with Reflex. Unicender sits in bag since I've got it. Smoother up the rope. I haven't had slippage (Yale 12.7 and Yale Imori). While I'm usually on MRS, and the Unicender is good for...
So, now my question is: Whose responsibility was it? (city or homeowner???) And would you (or your insurance) seek restitution from that responsible party if there was damage to your equipment?
I'd be a little hesitant to offer assistance...not because I wouldn't want to, but I'd worry a...
I wonder that same thing. I think a few things can provide some protection (but I'm no legal expert!):
1) follow industry (ANSI A300 and/or ISA TRAQ) standards
2) include a time frame (that is repetitive of #1...just re-emphasizing)
3) include language about limitations of access to inspect...
I'm amazed people don't dump their insurance more over that stupid stuff. They are willing to spend more on (unnecessary - often harmful) tree work recommended by an unqualified pencil pusher who has no idea about the difference between a high risk tree from low risk tree than they are saving...
I think I mentioned earlier that I upgraded from a 6x10 to a 7x14.
Have a friend who is a teacher helping part-time during the summers. His son is in collyand has started helping a little too. He said something to his dad a few weeks ago "how did you guys do this with the smaller trailer?!"...
There is nothing to do for that now. That was caused by a fungus that got on the leaves as they were developing in the spring. Earlier in the summer, there would have been brown spots. Those pop out leaving the holes. Did you have a wet spring down there? We had a lot of rain and I am seeing a...
When I was in college, we visited a site in the Piedmont region of Virginia. This area is known for gently rolling slopes and red clay soil. We visited an old homestead site from the 1600s IIRC. Because that's where the old house was (now fallen apart and overgrown by the woods), it was never...
I don't know about there...but in NW Ohio, the sandy soils wouldn't grow anything except pine trees, so that's what got planted. Before settlement, most of the area was forest. Most of that was cleared for agriculture (which most of it still is), but there are pockets were stands of trees were...
If Reach's doesn't work out and you cannot find another used, could you get by with a smaller pump? For soil you probably only need 150-200 psi max (don't even need that, but good to have the extra space) and 5-10GPM should be plenty. Sprayer Depot is pretty good about customizing rather than...
