The manufacturers seem to offer the best rates, no?
Have you worked with any local banks? (not local branch of a national bank...a locally owned bank (that may or may not be sold or merged before you pay off the loan...).
I made hinged sides for an old dump trailer (hinges bolted onto the stake pockets, then on 2x10). The hinge posts would be a better solution for that too.
Those look like they would work great on that. If you wanted a tailgate workspace, it'd be easy enough to put a wire to stop the tailgate at horizontal.
What'd you do for the hitch? Was it part of the bed you cut? Just cut the front off?
It's a 2012 truck but only 60,000 miles so should be around for a while...but hard to spend 10k on it.
I'm also thinking of getting an Izusu cab over chasis only and putting the bed I want on that (still not...
I want to replace the standard truck bed (8') on an F250 with a flat (or somewhat flatbed) (shorter sides/wider bed than normal pickup) and also have some toolbox space built in. Part of the motivation is more space for a bigger sprayer or a bigger tank to bring along to refill on the road...
Speed Queen top loader. Whichever has as few electronics as possible, turny knobs that actually turn things instead of pretending.
Run on "heavy" and it's like Grandma's old washing machine that worked.
And they last. And can be repaired if need be (so I hear...ours probably sees 8-10 loads...
For once or twice per year, can you rent? (or are you storing stuff in it?) No maintenance (tires and bearings are not ideal sitting that long). No worry about theft. No insurance... I much prefer owning to renting, but sometimes I cannot justify it.
1 axle or 2? I've envisioned a wheel lock for tandem axle trailers that would lock the 2 wheels together. I'm not creative enough to describe it well. If you Google chock-n-lock kinda like that, but I'm not sure you couldn't still drive off with one of those in place - I think it needs to be...
Pretty sure you tell them what you have and they'll put the couplers on the BMP to match your needs.
@tnttree is the best person to answer that though!
Or start searching for private equity groups. TCIA has had a few things lately about PE in tree care. There's good and bad...but if you are looking for a path out that could be on path.
One other thought - this one is sorta neutral/point of discussion. Neither agree or disagree:
"AMPLE ROOT SPACE: This measured whether there was an obstruction, such as a road, driveway, or waterway, within a circle measured as 5x the diameter of the tree. So for a 5’ diameter tree, that would...
One statement I'd question is: " ...the biggest takeaway I want to tell you all as arborists, is that these trees tend to have large low limbs. This means in order to cultivate the conditions for the next generation of giant trees to form, we must leave low limbs and give trees ample growing...
That's a lot of great data. Very interesting. I liked that you highlighted "My takeaway? Maybe those conditions shouldn’t be so concerning, if they’re still standing." We certainly need to define "concern". Maybe "abnormalities worthy of a closer examination" would be better language to use...
