Yes, there are several formulations of glyphosate labeled for cut stump treatment. Usually 30-40%. Not sure about labeling for hack and squirt, but that could be a bit of a nuanced stump treatment.
While there are studies about glyphosate being taken in by photosynthetic cells in the bark...
I've seen what seems more movement lately. I don't know about the application methods or amounts...but 3 separate situations where conifers were killed (spruce and taxus). 2 where they were treating mulberry within fence rows and the other treated 1 stump in a landscape bed and the taxus...
Is there any glyphosate labeled for basal bark spray?
Garlon 4 does a great job basal bark or hack and squirt and very little soil movement.
Avoid Picloram (Tordon) as it does move in the soil.
@Ryan Cafferky do you know what was used in that situation?
I think any alternatives are going to cost more than just a regular paving job (besides maybe just gravel...is that an option since it's infrequently used?)
That is true...but if tree preservation is important permeable pavers offer a better option than asphalt. Just going to have to realize pavers will be reset every +/-8-10 years.
If a client kills a tree with "permanent" pavement options tell them it's their own asphalt.
It depends on the circumstance...
If you have a driveway and a tree is it better to have some permeability, none, or no tree?
If you are doing construction before planting, I'm not sure there is a better solution than Silva Cells. Cornell Structural soil is good, but there is not as much...
perkEpave is one permeable pavement I've seen advertised a bit.
I think there are pavers that allow water to pass, but most "permeable pavers" are a system of installing "regular" pavers that have wider spacers built into them (they are called permeable, but each individual paver is not...
I dug a little and found this:

Rather than posting the full text:

fair enough...but I haven't spent time and money fiddling. For me its just worked. We also have a zigzag. It may be a touch smoother. But every time I pull or watch somebody else pull 70' of rope through to get it into place, I regret the $400-whatever I spent on the a little Reflex less.
I find I can better hit right on the mark with the big shot than I can throwing. I probably over throw more than I over shoot... But I admit that's a me problem.
Wesspur said "Note for owners of the original reflex: please email us at weborders@wesspur.com if you need support for your original Reflex. We will work directly with ISC to make sure you are taken care of!" So I assume ISC is fixing devices that have had problems..but maybe more readily with...
I ordered 2. One came yesterday via DHL. It shipped from Amazon Japan. The Silky packaging has all Japanese writing on it. Guessing somebody did an end around to get it shipped to North America without VSG markup??? Got an email from FedEx letting me know package is on the way that I think...
Yeah...but that last throw was oh, so close. I should be able to do this! One more time! (So close again, I got this....3-5 more times THEN the big shot)
