    cevian unicore rope

anyone use or have tried cevian unicore rope? I don't think ive ever heard of anyone using it on here but wesspur sells it and niceguy dave seems to like it. they list it at 11mm and when I look it up other sites list it at 11.5mm so im curious now.

    HH 2

Yea I actually like the idea. Tying a stopper doesn't take long but fidgeting with the hitch and length does sometimes

New device to tend Hitch Hiker

I wouldn't call a tether as being obsolete. for those of us who don't use or want to use a pulley underneath why would a tether not be needed with the new hh?

New device to tend Hitch Hiker

the best ive found is the u tether from wesspur. its ridged and holds its shape and doesn't need tight eyes to stay in place. always grabs from the top and ive never had the biner rotate since ive been using it.

Same here with the bdb but atleast it has the ability to rotate around the rope and kinda even it out. With the hitch cord on my hitch hiker it tends to always follow the same path and flatten it more

    Compact Bulldog Bone

Ok I went over my rope and found 2 spots like this both in the last 15ft or so of the line. Near them I found spots where the cover is real fat and supple so I'm guessing it's just the way it's milking out.

    Compact Bulldog Bone

I've read a few threads about donaghys and cougar ropes having inconsistencies in the braids of their ropes but I thought that was all resolved, maybe not tho.

    Compact Bulldog Bone

I'll look it over some more. I didnt see any picks but it looks like some of the strands are just pulled abnormally tight, not squished tho

    Spurs

I think the straight vs contoured shank is more about comfort around your ankle bone
