Compact Bulldog Bone

There is no right answer, you just have to pick one and hope it works out. Tachyon is the only rope I don't think anyone has complained about. Maybe the cougar holds that distinction as well. So many pages, I can't freaking remember

So Tyler, I looked for the response...may have missed it...what's the red, white, and blue rope? Was that the Aztec?

Whoops! sorry. I must have just replied on Facebook and not on here. Its called the star spangled by sterling rope. I think its 10.5 mm cause it slips for me with the 5/8" bollard. That must be my sign to lose a few:( Basically the same construction as the HTP. I don't think they supply it anymore but if they do, i need to get some more!!

The yale aztec comment was because i had a good experience with it in the bone.

There's really no telling which of those you'd prefer, however, I will say that heavier climbers have reported that the yale 11.7s tend to flatten under normal use (most will say that it returns to normal after washing, shaking, ect but still something to consider), so if your 200+lbs, you may consider either tach or cougar over the 11.7s.

Yeah right, you need to lose a few. Hahahaha. :) Seriously laughing over here.

2 questions...
Did you try the 3/4" bollard with it?
And how's the collarbone??
I haven't tried the star spangled with the 3/4" bollard because i don't feel like going to get more pins, but it should work. This rope is only like 20' so not enough to climb on. The collarbone is pretty good, thanks for asking. Played a hockey game the other night and may have tweaked it little:( To early for sports yet haha. A week and a half till I'm cleared.

Well, I'm a little undecided...Tachyon, yale 11.7 or cougar blue (still out of stock)?

I will get to try the cougar out real soon. However, I am using Yale 11.7 (Luna) with 3/4" bollard. It is okay but I have a feeling there is a much better fit. I can tell the difference when I mess around with a length of tachyon vs. the Luna. It's a great rope for sure, I just think there is a better choice for you. Hope this helps.

It does...I'll be waiting a little for the blue cougar to be in stock again...if it doesn't happen then I wouldn't mind collecting more suggestions...thanks anyway...
