This is something I’ve always been curious about and wanted to try.. I’ve just also been told not to so I have enough rope in the tree to bail out in case of emergency.
But I could if I’m doing a 20-30ft climb/Trimb I guess I could try to them as long as I’m using at least 150ft rope. Sounds...
Has anyone made a video showing how to tie this.. like a training video tie it once regularly. Then tie it slowly so we all can follow? I’ve been wanting to try this knot out but I’m more of a visual learner.

I still need to try a zillion.. love my zigzag I just found a a.r.t non swivel. So I put the petzl swivel on it and I’ve love it size day 1.
I also want to try on of the 1s from Thompsons tree tools that looks like the uni. I’d want the 1 that could be connected back to its self though...
I will find myself more likely to gaff out on a thin bark tree. So also usually have a 360 degree wrap. Plus I like to tie in asap just for more comfort.
I’ve been climbing for about 5 years or so still have alot to learn and that why I love this site . Learn something new everyday.

I always have the same problem when I’m now using the ring and just use the rope bridge. I have the swivel version too I don’t remember which you said you have.

Can it.. ? I wish I had known that day. It was just a pain for me to get used too.
We had rented it for 2 days to do some trimming on the whole golf course. It was fun to run other than that

Yeah I’m used to working with small crew my first job was 13 years and we had 4 people max.
I’ve had 3 jobs.. all tree work.
My new job has 12 people on the pay roll. We’re from northern ny and work all year round. Not always trees. It’s just so weird and hard having to like all these new...
My friend has a tree company very small but we were doing a big land clearing job. With alot of cutting dragging and piling.
All to a ride on skid steer with a grapple and they were supposed to fill in the ditch along our work area but never did. So we’re tried to build it up with mats but...

I’d like the monuverability over the extra 14’ but that’s me. I used something similar recently and it was awesome not having to fold all the way up or fold up at all to move around. I’d make up the extra 14’ with a pole saw. But that’s my opinion I don’t remember the exact model I used but it...
When I am the only guy with a protos… or any Bluetooth device and I have to keep lifting up my ear muffs to talk to the boss and groundies.

Good chippers.. my company has the same brand but our drum is 18 or 20”s. We plow shit threw it with a skid steer. Save a lot of backbreaking work and time. And time is money

If someone is really serious about purchasing one for 150 bucks. He said I can give you his email. Let me know serious inquiries only though there’s only one left. I’m glad I got it was the one of the last two.

Someone that knows Paul got permission to make a small batch as long as he didn’t bring it to market, which is not I don’t know if he wants me to say his name or not. I’d have to ask. I’m sure he’ll see the post and maybe throw his name out there
